In my humble opinion Renegade was one of the last few good games of the Command and Conquer era. Naturally, I was ecstatic when I first found out this "spiritual successor" to Westwood's game was being developed and made. Now, here we are with the Beta's release. Hope you enjoy!

You can download it here

Here's the release post where you can see screenshots and whatnot. Here

I have 9000+ hours in the original Renegade being a Server admin/in-game Mod.
If you have Steam running it will use your Steam name to log in, and its the only way to record your game stats to the leader boards. Steam will tell your friends you are playing Unreal Developement Kit.
This game will hopefully be going to the Greenlight page for voting once beata testing is done.

I love how its connected to steam. If it goes to greenlight there's no doubt in my mind it'll get greenlit. Game is pretty awesome the some time I played it last night. Nuke enemy base for 1000? Check.

I wasn't aware the game had gotten so far in development. I loved the original Renegade, so I'm probably gonna try this one out.
