And I'll let you people know, that this guy is nice :P I hate tower-defense games and that's the reason I can't help him :|

Umm yeah, its pretty much just make a random image that would fit on 32x32. It could even be sketch, it really depends on the person :) Though we would need to revamp the style then :D At the moment, my drawings ressemble more of a childish crayon TD x_x

Around 5 years :) Well counting the time since i began programming at home. Had done quite a few projects, though i never really tryed to cooperate with anyone, which would be awesome :) Do you program aswell? :D
And non of the projects were official. Though some of my friends still mess around with the games I made ;D

Wow, great! I've started programming not so long ago too. Well technically I started learning C++ in school a year ago, but those were only the basics - if statements, loops and simple math, I felt I needed more. So this summer I started learning on my own. The only real game I made was Ping Pong. And it was pretty awful imo. No menus, no normal interface, no nothing. Then I tried writing some other games. After that I realized that writing a game engine on my own is just an overkill, especially for a newbie like me. So a week ago I started learning with Unity - so far I can say it's a great engine.
And as I understand you're writing an engine from scratch? Don't you think you could achieve more with already written engines, i.e. Unity, UDK, Source?

Wow :o That sounds amazing and im happy to hear that u decided to learn on your own. I used to use them, though im trying out something new :) Recently tryed out my own abilities at creating simple engines. Using already made engines is a lot better, unless youre trying out your skills i guess ;D It uses a lot less resource and power from the computer, well its over all a lot better ;D Have u created any games on Unity? :)

You mean an illustrator.
The design role goes to mechanics and overall presentation(in bigger teams are different roles). So theres the design, art, programing and(if theres any story) writing areas.
My artsy skills are bad and i take too long to draw something cool- time i don't have right now. But if you want any tips or help with the design bit i may help. Tough i work mostly with graphics design(generally front end web and photo retouches) all my especialization have been on system and services design, multimidia experiences and games- if only were easy to get jobs with that here where i live. Anyways, wanna tips call me on steam.

Heya :) If you still need any help, I'd be happy to work with you. Here are a few design samples on games I've worked on in the past:

Here is a gameplay video of a game I'm working on by myself, due to come out shortly:

Simple error to make :3 I'll ask my cousin for you. He's been doing a little work for me and i'm sure he'd have the time to slot in simple sprites since that all he's doing for me :D

Ok buddy. I would love to do the following:
-Make sprites (can take me a while, have not done it yet but I have made textures for 3D models before)
-Design and create maps for you game (I love level designing and this seems a nice start other than modding)
I have a friend who is amazing at drawing and I think I could get you some nice wallpapers :)
If you want me I will definitely join, just contact me for more details about my timetable and references.

Hey guys,
Im looking for a designer that could draw pretty simple sprite sheets(mostly 32x32), no experience required though its always nice even if u have little of it :) As ive mentioned -- This is an experiment -- Its all for practise purposes, though if youll do good, ill find some games to reward u and credit u aswell :) This project will be a tower defense game (Medieval),ive already started making it and it has a simple engine(took around ~8 hours) though im open minded, if youll think of good ideas we could put them into the game :)
