I bought a cd-key from them and they refuse to give it to me or give me my money back. They just say: Your order has been flagged for anti-fraud check measures. My order is however 100% legit. Is there anything i can do or did i just pay them 30 euro for free? This should be illegal, i mean can they just steal money from u just like that?

I buy stuff from cd-keys store on a regular basis, i have run into this anti-fraud thing more times than i care to count, they just want to make sure you are who you say you are because a lot of cd-key sites have been scammed by bots buying up keys

usually what you have to do, is send them a picture with 1. the stores name and todays date 2. two pieces of ID (fx passport and drivers licence or drivers licence + creditcard)

I almost got screwed by one of the grey market shops before, but I got my money back by being persistent. They were selling me a Skyrim key before anyone knew it was hard region-locked Russian key. They didn't even claim that when they were first selling it. So I just stopped buying crap from those key sellers.

If my father would be a boss of a bank I'd buy keys from legit sites/companys, or stop lying, because no1 is reading this from that site, and even if they did, no1 would care :)

There is a reason why stuff costs less then they should, and even if it's a legit site, I wouldn't even go near it with that name.
And just uploading your passport ... not the best choice.

I've never had issues with that site, and neither have my friends, and we have made like 10 orders there in total.

Same here but as others have pointed out they will probably process the order after that anti-fraud check.

I'd check with your bank. Banks have automated checks on debit and credit cards that 'flags' transactions as suspected fraud. The merchant - in this case onlinekeystore.com - would receive a declined transaction code from their merchant services provider, that code translates to a reason, in this case likely fraud checks.

TL;DR - Call your bank.

Well, that is only partial key what you showed. It also looks like NL3TTA ( But the TT could be something else )

If that helps? :P

Honestly those sites are always suspect.. if you ever intend to buy from those kinds of sites always make sure you can get a chargeback.. I also would not do this very often either lol. I have avoided going to any of those kinds of sites for the reason you are facing though.

£4.99 from here, legit reseller that uses Metaboli, which is a distribution service sanctioned and licensed by publishers to sell their games digitally.

And it's cheaper that the one you were buying from, which is quite ironic.

Funny how so many people here are like "ZOMG these sites! It's scam, duh! So obvious." Yet I had the same thing happen to with Amazon and Steam as well. And loads of people can buy from these key resellers just fine.

Usually it's cheaper (and safer apparently) to buy games from traders than cdkey re-sellers. I'm pretty sure you could get any game on Steam for less than 30 euro from many different reputable traders.

You can go to the bank and refuse your money or to paypal support if you paid with that, you have 1 month for that. But it's not always easy.

Ha, that's awesome. I saw they were rated pretty bad on WOT, but not the replies. God that's hilarious. 3rd party key sellers (excluding GOG, GMG, GG, Amazon, and the usual trusted bunch) are just a bad idea to begin with.

I had to ask for a refund with a paypal chargeback, they waited a month. And I lost some money in the process. And I don't believe it was a mistake, I'm sure it was intentional. And they took away 5000 blue points from my account (I had about 100 so now I'm at -4900) for no reason at all.
