Given they just opened up a massive potential abuse-point for people throwing around ill-gotten keys and stolen accounts, a three day wait is actually pretty damn reasonable in my opinion. The alternate being that we just continued to not have access to the ability to gift buddies with digital gift cards, which sucks if you're like me and can never quite peel myself out of bed early enough to visit a suitable store on my way to work :P
I know a few people who are going to appreciate it over the christmas period.
