One of my favorite shows as a kid and a damn good remake. Always preferred the old Apollo though.

I remember the SciFi Channel here showed reruns when I was a kid, and I was bemused that such a show existed.I saw it as just a horribly cheesy rip-off of Star Wars and only after devouring the 2004 series did I realize what an interesting concept and story lay behind Glen Larson's vision.

Hatch was fun to watch in both incarnations.
