Is it against the rules to post a puzzle for keys that aren't for steam?

I have 5 Triad Wars closed beta keys I want to giveaway. I know you can't create a giveaway for non-steam games or beta keys, but I wanted to giveaway the keys via a puzzle. Is that ok? or do I need to give them away somewhere else?

beta keys and non steam games are not allowed via giveaway system, but you can post them on forum, anyways you dont even have an option on the giveaway list for them.

And yes you can make a puzzle and post it on forums and who solves it gets a key.

No, i wasn't creating a giveaway for them, I was going to create a puzzle, and at the end of the puzzle the 5 keys would show up, not a link to a giveaway.

Just be aware that if you post the five keys at the end of the puzzle, one greedy person could abscond with them. You may want to consider having the end of the puzzle give a codeword which the solver could give you over Steam chat to get a key.

It's only one code per account, so by the time they logged in with 2 accounts the other codes should be gone.

As long as you don't create a Steamgifts giveaway for these keys, it's fine.
