Steam - images don't load

Did you try this? Otherwise, if you want to do it manually, the respective folders should be something along those lines:

Standard:

%steam%\config\htmlcache\

Big Picture:

%steam%\tenfoot\config\htmlcache\

In-game:

%steam%\steamapps\common\%game%\config\html\

Try dumping the Steam browser cache. Steam, settings, web browser. Delete the cache and cookies, then restart steam.

Skibby and headmonkeyboy, I done what you told to me and... nothing happens. Now Steam can't load anything (except my library) and it's running so slow. Steam images in normal website (Firefox) won't load andI have only black screen on steam browser when I try to open something like show, market etc

And before you do anything drastic, disable any relative add-ons (or extensions) and/or try a different browser!

That happens occasionally in the Steam client too.

Did you restart your internet modem/router and computer?

Try this...
Delete all files in your Steam folder except "steamapps" "userdata" and "Steam.exe".
Then reboot your pc and run Steam.exe from the Steam folder.

I had a similar problem in the past, it turned out it was Adblock plus's fault.

There was a similar issue with german Steam users a few days back, probably a routing issue or something.

In Steam Client, Steam - Settings - Webbrowser - "Delete all browser cookies"

In your browser, you can try switching the user-agent, there are browser-addons for that for most browsers.

Do as Nate says, if it doesn't solve it then it's about client's network connection. Check if Steam is blocked in by firewall, turn off vpn and dns and try again.

Or, instead of doing all that, just wait.
Steam craps out like that all the time, just one more list of annoying bugs with the system Valve doesn't care to fix.

The content filter on the firewall at my job blocks steam images from time to time, it usually goes away after a few hours (I guess after the filters have been updated).

Is your net having issues at the moment?

Open your command prompt as an admin.
In the command prompt type ping -t google.com
Then hit the enter key.
Let this run for a bit and see if it says timeout on any of the hops. Can you tell me if the ms(milliseconds) are low on each hop or are they in the hundreds or thousands?

Try disabling https everywhere if u have it enabled.
Also check your firewall and hosts file, if it's not browser only.

Don't do anything, seriously. I've had the same issue a couple of days ago and it fixed itself because it was a Steam issue and not an issue on my end so I'm pretty sure it's the same case for you. Just give it a day or two and it should be back to normal.

Had the same problem. Fixed it by changing DNS. Step by Step guide of what I did. (Using Windows 10)
Step 1: Go to Start Menu search bar and type "Network and Sharing Center" and press Enter.
Step 2: From left side menu, choose "Change adapter settings".
Step 3: Choose the active connection/adapter you are using, right click and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Choose "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click "Properties"
Step 5: Now select "Use the following DNS server addresses".
Step 6: In Preferred DNS server, type " 4.2.2.1 ". In Alternate DNS server, type " 4.2.2.2 ". Click "Ok" and you are done. Steam images should load now.
If it doesn't work, try exchanging the dns address locations (example: putting 4.2.2.2 as preferred & 4.2.2.1 as the alternate).

I would check hosts file, something similar happened to me, but with Origin.

I ran virtual machine in Oracle VM Virtualbox and entered Steam website - I have infinity loading, so the problem is the same.
