[Changes on Steamgifts] Wishlist+Notifications+Filters

hello everybody.
i know how to make steamgifts better

it will be great, if developers of steamgifts make a chance for us to mark our fovourite games (games that we want to get more then others) and to create a personal wishlist.

then, when a giveaway with a game from wishlist opens, you'll get a notification like "Portal 2 giveaway opened minutes ago, open for another hours" with a link. it will be great, cause nobody wants to miss a giveaway with wanted game.

if its too hard to make notifications, there can be just a filter, which hides the games that are not in wishlist. and giveaways you couldnt enter (higher contribution value).

its just my fantasies, but we can make them true, if we attract attention of developers of the site.

lets make steamgifts better!

This feature, the filter part specifically, is already in the user-addon for steamgifts, so you could just use that. It syncs off of your steam wishlist.

Then you dont get theses features. Simple. Installing the addon takes 2 minutes, goddamit.

so why developers still have not inserted these java scriptes in the code of site in order everybody to enjoy these cool features?

Maybe because not everyone want to "enjoy these cool features"? Or because most of the people who care already got addon?

You don't need to write a few lines like this, it's bad for my poor eyes. Too much 'bolded' text is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Change it :P

I think you don't get the difference between developers, developer and (web)programmer/webdesigner.

but notification does not)
this idea is more fresh then filtering.
and wishlist.....the list of games i want to HAVE can differ from the list of games i want to WIN on steamgifts

You can put the games you want to win in your wishlist too. Thats a non-issue.

I agree!
Or just like on steamtrades, where u can filter the game u want using search...
Also, on the current filter, when u select "NEW" it should hide the ones that have ended ;)

There is a white search box in top right corner. Using it you can search the game you want.

And all this goes well until someone with Shadowgrounds on their wishlist gets swamped by another Summer Seal event and the site spends more time delivering notifications than displaying pages.
