Witcher 3
SPOILER
Geralt finds Ciri and thinks that she's dead (that hug). I've read all the books and I know how important Ciri is for White Wolf. Seeing Geralt resigned and broken was for me (big Witcher Universe and Geralt fan) very sad moment.

Dear gosh, why would you ever subject yourself to that?

Journal. Near the end it resonated with me on a very personal level. Mildly spoiler Added to the fact that I have a sister and that I had recently suffered a loss (thankfully not of my sister though) and I was crying through the credits. It was actually about a week before I could go back to the game to get the "beret lover" achievement.

I though "why?? Why have you done this, now I will die anyway bc I'm not able to shoot from behind these tears".
It is only "death" that isn't making me cry when replaying ME3 - that's why I'm thinking that sometimes it's good that some moments are unique and non-repeatable. Now I know it's gonna end good so I don't really care.

For me it was the hospital scene with Thane Krios (in ME3). That was really moving, especially when the last line was delivered and you realized what Thane was doing.

I said early that Valiant Hearts The Great War ending was my saddest moment, and yes, it is, but, I remember another game where makes me sad, but I don't know exactly why... Batman Arkham City ending when Batman went out from Theater with Joker's corpse in your arms was a sad moment too

The Walking Dead Season 1 ending where Clementine shot Lee.
The Walking Dead Season 2 ending where Kenny left Clementine so they would take her and the baby.
Mafia 2 ending where Joe wasn't a part of the deal and is probably dead.

Life is Strange really messed me up.
To the Moon
And to a lesser extent Dragon Age Origins when I chose myself to make the killing blow and watched my own funeral.

Honestly, I ended up tearing up pretty hardcore at the start of The Last of Us. I'd been waiting for the game for the longest time, so I got it on release day without any idea of what might happen. The ending also got me, to a lesser extent, but it still certainly did. That game was a great ride, overall.
Though for some reason, the good ending of Infamous 2 really killed me. I ended up retreating to my room for a decent amount of time in a state of utter depression. I think it was the weight of the whole situation, having spent the time to 100% both games as a good guy.
I'm sure I've got more, like The Walking Dead and such like that, I just can remember those two off the top of my head the most.

Well, I got a little depressed of doing nothing this days and resume Battleblock Theater which I left incomplete some time ago. The thing is that the end of the game made me feel extreme sadness for some reason. I wouldn't say that's my saddest moment, but it made me think of it. So I open this discussion to know which is your saddest moment of a videogame.
