Are you more likely to post cause of the whitelist?
I think your generosity and participation here alone are enough to warrant whitelisting... so I know I just pushed you closer to the 300 mark.
On the topic, I don't think either of the lists makes me behave in one way or another when it comes to commenting... but I do always wonder why I get blacklisted when I do... but then again, ignorance is often bliss.

I've gotten less spammy in general. Blacklists and whitelists don't really effect commenting -- at least for me

I honestly hadn't even heard of it. But I'm fine being one any lists - black or white.
I don't judge, even when I am judged.

My numbers are changing, and that is good. Many thanks, Internet friend!

That's a neat page... I didn't think I was commenting more, but apparently I am... Guess it comes from doing some of the puzzle trains lately.

I'm actually kind of surprised at how many blacklists and whitelists I'm on in general. I make a few snide remarks here and there that deserve some backlash, and I think a good majority of my blacklists came from my "Mental Illness and You" threads from a while back that rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I assume the whitelists are just there because they see that I'm a nice guy at heart even if I'm an asshole exterior lol.
EDIT: TO answer the question, I don't intend to change, but I hope there isn't something in the back of my mind that kind of makes me be more cautious so I don't upset or offend people ya know?

I go out of my way to kiss as much ass as humanly possible to get whitelisted in the hopes that someone will give out a copy of a AAA game so I can reap the rewards. I will do anything, ANYTHING for a whitelist - afterwards, I sign off my computer, and I go in my small bedroom closet, I fall to my knees and I cry because I feel dirty with the shame of it all.
BUT MAN WHEN I GET XCOM2 ITLL BE SO WORTH IT

Not likely
i've came to a conclusion it's much more enjoyable to be a prick and waste everyone's time
I also feel guilty for not repaying the favor to everyone who Whitelisted me. Less WL, Less Worries

Nah, I'm just being myself.
Looking at my whitelist stats, I wouldn't even know what has caused people to whitelist me in most of the cases. At one point I wasn't using this site for a year and I got my first whitelist two months before I returned. So I literally got whitelisted for nothing.

I went through and whitelisted all the people who did giveaways I won. I also whitelisted everyone on my Steam friends list.
Maybe people you know did the same?

When interacting on the forum, I don't even think about it, of course it's always nice to see myself on a whitelist.
I'd rather be whitelisted for being myself, it makes the experience that much more rewarding to find out someone thinks
that I deserve a spot on their whitelist <3

Nope, I don't post depending neither on the whitelists nor on the blacklists. I just post because I want to post. xD You can now understand that all these rules and restrictions make people scared, right? ;)

I like being whitelisted, but my posts don't change and they are the same as everywhere else (where whitelists don't exist). I try to be polite, friendly and understanding as much as I can, sometimes I get a bit angry at people not respecting others. I know I was a dick to 1 guy asking about blacklists like 2-3 days ago, I was too harsh in my ironic way, I regret that.

I don't change how I post here versus any other forum, I just let my natural hilarity shine through on any comment and wait for the whitelisting flood to smother me.

My last comment there earned me A WHOLE BUNCH of blacklist adds. Cheers guys.

As a counterpoint to this thread:

I am wondering if anyone has changed their posting habits since whitelisting came available. Does the prospect of getting added to a whitelist make you more brave and willing to comment?
For me, I haven't changed how I post. I have definitely whitelisted people based on their posts in the discussion area.
