Left 4 Dead 2 (DE) / ONLY GERMAN Giveaway! Cuz Region locked key....

Servus leute hab hier L4D2 rumliegen über steam gekauft daher nur in DE verwendbar. jetzt meine frage isses möglich das in einem Giveaway erkenntlich zu geben ausser im kopftext ?

For english people:

I bought L4d2 on steam but its region locked, so is it possible to create a giveaway for only germans? seems a bit racistic but no one else can use it :(

You might try making a group giveaway for a Steam group exclusive to Germans. Pass that by support first though, since I'm not 100% sure that's allowed.

I'm pretty sure it's not region locked, just low violence (about -95% blood).
Not sure about the rules for making a giveaway, my guess is you are allowed to make a GA, but clearly should point out in the description, that it is the low violence = cut version.

thats the point of interest. is it allowed, and is it enough to write it in the Description... Cuz if you would use the Androip app you wont see it because mostly use the "quick join" and there is no description...

well i think i have to ask a SG Master...

Well on the Android app I use, You can clearly read a description. Of course there is a quick-join but that's not the gifters fault, i would say. Joining sth. you COULD have read but refused to is always a risk, IMHO.. BTW not all users acutally use an (Android) app. Asking an admin as you did is the save thing to do.

I believe this is likely correct -- that is to say no region lock but it will be a low violence version regardless of what region it is redeemed in.

Es gibt keinen Region Lock für L4D2 (DE). Gibt es auch im Allgemeinen nicht für cut Spiele. Du schreibst einfach in die Giveaway Beschreibung, dass das Spiel die Deutsche cut Version ist. Wer nicht lesen kann hat halt Pech.
Mehr Info hier, übrigens gab es Weihnachten L4D2 gratis und man konnte es sogar uncut bekommen ;)

das spiel sollte nich region lock sein nur wie oben bereits erwähnt gewaltgemindert was nicht jeder gern mag kann man ja aber mit erwähnen !

dem givaway steht also eigentlich nix im wege weil es sich auch auf jede sprache umstellen läst
