i really love both metallica and motorhead, but i don't think they really "fit" together. this applies to this song and motorhead's cover of enter sandman.

Hmm yea i know what you mean. I saw a comment on the Metallica - Overkill link above and have to agree with the poster, a combination of the best bits of both renditions of Overkill, Motorheads and Metallica's would be awesome.

yeah. the instrumentals are very nice, but james' voice does not fit with the song. however, lemmy and james playing together would be 'overkill'

ok. I found this band called ALL AGAINST ALL and it's frigging awesome. They come from my country and play some melodic hardcore heavily influenced by metal. Cheers!
