I feel like dropping a bunch experimental metal this time. As always, I recommend listening to the entire albums, especially since youtube compression really ruins anything beyond even remotely intricate music :)
Ved Buens Ende - I Sang for the Swans - Trippy black metal with Jazz elements.
Subterranean Masquerade - Rock 'N Roll Preacher - Perhaps one of the happiest albums containing growl vocals ever. Also tons of crisp delicious horns!
maudlin of the Well - Gleam in Ranks - Probably the most straight forward motW song, but I feel that it's a good introduction.
Arcturus - For To End Yet Again - The epic conclusion to a great album, that you shouldn't miss out on.
Manes - Terminus A Quo/Terminus Ad Quem - Few bands have put out both a straight out black metal album, and also a trip hop album. This is from in between those periods, electronic jazz metal, perhaps?
And lastly something completely random Akphaezya - Reflections jazz/pop/latin/??? metal.

Anyone heard of Virtue before? They didn't make it in the NWOBHM but what they left us is fantastic...
I hadn't heard of them until they appeared in my YT recommended videos list (amongst Monty Python, Wile Coyote & Road Runner and kayaking videos)
