So...Doom III or Quake IV? Games you love to hate?

I love to hate Skyrim. Everyone is like "lul u cant hat skyring is best gaen evur nub".

Personally I think that Quake4 is better because it's more of a straightforward shooter than what Doom 3 was trying to achieve with all the horror stuff that I find to be annoying. However Doom 3 has some really great mods that are very worth playing, such as Dark Mod.

Both. They really are both incredible games. You'll regret only getting one!

I'd recommend Quake, Doom 3 got really annoying after the demons spawned behind you for the 1000th time in a cheap attempt to "scare" you. Not to mention your space marine not being able to attach that goddamn flaslight to his gun (without mods anyway), another stupid attempt to be scary. Man I hate Doom3. Good graphics at the time though...just like Quake IV, same engine.

Doom 3, rush through it, start again on Nightmare and you will be surprised how awesome game that is.

Quake 4. If you want to play Doom 3, might as well wait for the BFG edition in October.
