Saying Thank You On Giveaways Increases Chances?

There's already been so many threads on this topic and it always comes down (basically) to two points of view:

1. It's mostly spam and people only appreciate thoughtful comments
2. It's a MUST and you'll get blacklisted if you don't comment

I usually ask people not to spam with useless "thanks" (or any variation of it) but to enjoy the game if they win and that will be gratitude enough for me. Sadly, a lot of people disregard a polite request and spam the hell out of it, even though I warn them that I'll blacklist those who I know use copy/paste or bots to spam my gibs (it's really easy to spot those people) ...

What do I do? Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you:
If the creator says nothing in the description I won't write anything as I assume that if he wanted us to say something he'd say something too, if the creator has a specific wish I'm more than happy to go along with it, if the creator asks that people don't write anything I'm not gonna write anything.

EDIT: Unless it's a gif, everybody loves gifs :D

EDIT2: Yesterday I made 15 gibs and got exactly 2 thank you's from the winners. Do I seriously mind? Nope. Would it have been nice for them to say it AFTER winning... Yup.

tbh NO , but when you say thanks for the donator he will be very happy and he might even make another giveaways so you will get chances in those other giveaways so YES it will increase your chance in winning a game

Blacklist for being polite
Blacklist for being rude
Blacklist for saying nothing at all
Blacklist for saying too much to

I do not care about any of the above to be honest, do whatever makes you happy.
What is on my mind currently, is if anyone has maxed out their Blacklist yet?
I know it has been joked about before. But has anyone actually done it on SGv2?

If it's a generic comment then I will leave a thank you. If the giveaway creator asks for a specific comment then I will put more thought into it and try to go along with what they want. If there is no comment then I tend not to put anything despite still being grateful unless of course I win in which case they would get a personalized thank you and much gratitude.

Every time i win it happens i said thanks, it's the proof it's working in some way ^^

We encourage users to write comments thanking the giveaway creator for their generosity, although this is not required.

my assumption is that,the less people on the giveaway,the more the chance to win but that dose not workout all that often.still more rng based,I think that my 1st won giveaway will appear after my 3rd~5th thousand entry.
