Can't open game

I have a game (Bioshock) and it won't open.I click Play and nothing happens, the game shows up in the processes for like 3 seconds and dissapears, i tried to verify the integrity of files, that didn't work.I uninstalled the game and that didn't work either.What can i do?

No specific advice from me I'm afraid. When I'm having problems I often go to the game hub/forum/discussions for the game on Steam and do a search. In this case it would be for "launch", "start" or "startup" and I'd be hoping there's advice there.

If you've already done that then I don't know.

check you graphic drivers, steam can update them if they are oudated, here's how to do it
anyway it shouldn't be any problem related to framework because steam always install that on the first time you open the game...

do you closed any of the resources that steam tried to install at the first time you tried to open it?

Nope, i let them install, but after that the game just doesn't open.I've tried to put a crack over the game and that fixed it, but i don't want to play it like that so i deleted it.
