So, I'm bored, & curios to know what greenlight games you folks are looking forward to the most? Post them below... or don't. I don't really care what you do. I kid! I care... maybe. We'll see.

What? I have never received emails from greenlit game devs.
Edit: Except to get a steam key (they promised to give a steam key if we upvoted).

Got one from one of the devs of The Body Changer recently asking me if I'd played it yet, and they were asking for feedback and suggestions. They did mention voting if I liked the game. Personally, I didn't mind that at all.

You're still wrong. He didn't sent you an e-mail. You got private message from this dev on Desura and system sent you notification.

If a game is good, devs won't need to "buy" votes. :/

Doesn't seem to be necessarily true. There are a lot of good games that have been languishing in Greenlight for a long time because of crappy games buying votes among other things. There are a limited number of spots in each batch, so for each crap game that is greenlighted for buying votes, a deserving game has to wait longer.

The real problem is that Greenlight is a popularity contest, not a contest of what is actually going to be good and fun to play. It's also about advertising since people are going to be easily swayed by who can make good trailers and game descriptions and some get swayed by pretty graphics and art as well.

"There are lot of good games...-zip you know what I´m referring to now -"
I beg to differ. There´s not a single remotely good game on greenlight imho. Need a filter option in the shop, something like -Greenlight, -Indie, -Platformer.
There, I said it, you may h8 on me now.

I'd like such an option actually. That way I could filter out the AAA rubbish that isn't worth my time and actually see the games I would enjoy playing.

This option exists, genre browser has an "Indie" button.
The other way around, however...

Indie actually doesn't include all such games since many are just marked by their genre or don't even get labels. You'll have more luck with tags, assuming that the game actually has accurate tags.

"There´s not a single remotely good game on greenlight imho" - OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration. You o know there's a difference between "games that cater to my personal taste" and "games that are good", right? :p

There was an adventure game that I'm sure was being promoted on here a month or two back and the devs were making giveaways. Can't remember what it was called now. I meant to check it out in more depth at the time but forgot. Think they billed it as "the greatest adventure game ever" or similar, but I might've made that part up in my head. :p

Anyone got a clue what I'm talking about?

It was not Shadows on the Vatican (I remember that being promoted in giveaways too)

It would be real nice if they'd finish and release Black Mesa on Steam already. While we're at it Operation Black Mesa would be nice too. :D

I knew about The Forst, but Frontiers and Blockscape look interesting as well. Just hope that they will be as good as the devs promise when they launch.

I quickly posted a few days ago without the link. I have some spare time while drinking coffee so here comes the full post.

I only follow 2 games, the first one:

The Survival Game : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=241750254&searchtext=The+survival+game

A Survival Game (duh! :D ) pretty much like the hunger game, you'll be dropped on an island with other participants and would have to fight to be the last one standing.

Crafting, archaic weapons, disasters, rich environment from the different videos i've seen.

The second one, Gloria Victis:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=225671457

A Medieval MMORPG.
