Finally, now I can purchase it with local warranty included. :D
But the price seems to have gone up a bit.

What was the price you got before? I see the same prices in the us.

In KR sales price is ₩989,000. A simple conversion: 760 to 770 ($).
It's probably a feeling of added tariff.

I see, it would make sense if it was import tax as it's like 10% in korea and from the $700 us normal price + 10% it would be $770. 10% doesn't seem like a lot but when you look at the total afterwards it could be a deal breaker for some.

On the Steam deck page, I saw that the price of the 512GB was $649. Is there an additional tax on the normal price?

We pay tax on purchases too in the US, so yeah it might be $649 on the page, but on the purchase page for me it ended up just above $699 with tax, and I also had the reservation $5 discount so mine was technically like $704 or so?

Edit: My bad you're right it is indeed $649 mine was $700 with the tax, so your tax somehow is like 15% even though on google I see Koreas import tax at 10%. Not sure how they're doing it.

Ah I see. Now I understand that local price set. Probably 5~10% is estimated as a dealer fee.

In the US we pay tax on everything, not sure if any states are exempt but it applies to most places even though each state has it's own going rate. I believe the EU has VAT auto calculated into the price hence why the prices are generally higher for stuff like games and they should balance out when someone adds up the us tax to their purchase but I could be wrong.
