Is it a common bug that i go lvl 2 some months later lvl 1 and lvl 2 again and then lvl 1?

I was LvL2 tool shows me lvl 2/i go lvl 1 for no reason after a week or so i go 2 again and then today im lvl 1.Wtf is going on.

It cant be steam valuation of times how many times will steam check the value.It would have been once not two/three times already.

Might be due to your Polarity giveaway. Steam API reported the wrong price ($14.99 instead of $4.99) due to Developer Alliance Bundle sale earlier, now it returned to normal.

I thought it was with labour of hercules cuz when i did giveaway it did cost 12 price was 85/90% reduced before it got bundled so i did gave it away.And that polarity giveaway was like months away :O
The lvl 2-lvl 1 bug has happened x2 times so far.

Well according to SteamDB, the price was reduced to $2.99 from $8.99 on July 30 on Steam Store.

That might have caused your first drop to level 1. Then you get bumped up back to level 2 due to the price error on Polarity, and now that it is fixed, you're back to level 1.

But after you give it away at its max price does it drop when the general prices drop on steam?
By that it means that a lvl 5 rank would eventually go rank 1 without giving away content all the time
Or he should just giveaway non bundled games etc.
I would have reached more but capital controls had visa's debit/prepaid stuff locked.It recently just opened.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. You get credit for the current store price, not the price when you made the giveaway. :)

So, just like you suspected, if you give away a brand new $60 game today, you will only have credit for giving a $40 ... $30 ... $20 ... $10 game as the price goes down. :)

When i bought Labour of Herc it was on 1 dollar or smth without being bundled with the price of total 12 bucks on steam store.Now the steam store shows the game's cost at 3 bucks.

if the price drops in steam, then the game changes its value here. it's how this site works, it doesn't store the original prices. (so a $60 game now could be worth ~20points in a few years).

Not quite what you're asking, but... :)

If you're choosing your giveaways by looking for the cheapest way to get a higher level, you might want to step off the treadmill before it's too late... :)

Things are added to the bundle list retroactively, starting from when it originally had that crazy price. And often big discounts aren't noticed immediately. So when the list is updated, today's 90% discount non-bundle game might turn out to have been a 95% discount bundle game after all... :) Good luck dodging all the bullets aimed at you from the future... :)

Or you can try some crazy idea like... Here is a great game, I want to share it with random internet people. Even though they will never install it... :)

Nah i meant i had leftovers on my wallet and i was about to reach rank 2.So i was like this game has good ratings and its on a offer aswell
!I realised that if the steam price falls it naturally drops here but it was like too fast so thats why i questioned it.And it happened x 2 :P
Groundnuts/Mullins enlightened me in a way.If i would have chosen the cheap way i would have been lvl 999 now due the graphic novel price bug that was given some months ago.I will carry on gifting ppl cuz its normal since you win you have to give something back.
