Not complaining, just curious -- was this hinted in some way that I missed? (Wasn't really interested in the game, so I didn't delve too deep after getting to the audio file. "Play with me" got me looking for the track and (especially) artist, thinking it would be put into the cutt.ly format again. Learned a new cipher, though!)

No hints in words but he weird hissing sound in the beginning (that is the demon figure) is the audio 'hint' that there is something going on. Granted, I recorded a bass-line and did a mini drum track to camouflage it a bit, but I had to put it in the bottom of the spectrum so the figure would still be visible (and audible).

Oh... I didn't even pay attention to the name of the cipher. I found the Youtube link after I already decoded the message and found the wav and then tried to find out how to combine the wav with the Youtube video somehow. ^^

You can use various online spectrogram tools to 'look' at the sound - and you should be able to see the information hidden in it.
If you have a tool that allows you to tweak the graph, you can make it pretty clear as well
