G MOD HELP ASAP

my friend gifted me g mod a couple of days ago, SP is boring ofc, but the MP, still cant play, it keeps downloading and does NOT stop, for hours ive waited, please help I just wanna try this game ;-;

What are you trying to play?
Some servers have a lot of mods/addons, it depends on your Internet connections with the server.

the easiest gamemode to download and play (IMO) is TTT and prop hunt, as long as you dont go on one that has a lot of addons. try finding a server that has [FastDL] in the title, should quickly download and you should quickly get in a game.
