basically earn diamonds by getting codes which randomly drop, or doing tasks, collect at least 100 of em to open a premium pack and pray that you get a steam giftcard, but most of the time its gonna be a random game that you know you are never gonna play lol.

So I bought a diamond pack and got something called "Pirates of Black Cove Gold Edition." There IS a Pirates of Black Cove game listed on steam (as well as DLC), but the "Gold Edition" is a different (delisted?) entity that I already HAD somehow...
I figured I'd give it away, but the Gold Edition doesn't even appear on Steamgifts.

Pirates of Black Cove has been removed from the giveaway list as it has generated a number of problems for us.
The Gold version has been removed from Steam, which means people can still enter to win, despite already owning it, and the VAST majority of giveaways for this game tend to be the Gold version. The Gold version is unavailable to add because it is missing from Steam's API, so users would frequently use the non-Gold entry for their giveaways. Often, the creators of the giveaways are not even clear about which version they have on hand.
What would end up happening is the winner would often not realize the difference, and wind up getting a suspension for not activating their gift.

Yeah there was a lot of issues with this game on SG so I actually reached out to Nitro Games a long time ago. I was told that the only version that has Steam keys is the gold version.

i just get a code redeemed successfully popup -- have to look at my coin and diamond counts before and after and do the math to figure out what a code got me . . . but usually i assume something's going up and that's enough for me

It seems Lootboy has gotten a lot better when it comes to duplicated keys, but if you still have doubts about a key, you can use the group below for those giveaways :)
Unfortunately it happens far too often that Lootboy is handing out duplicate keys, so a lot of people feel uncomfortable with creating public giveaways with the games from Lootboy. So I just created a little group with some rules to make it less risky for the generous givers.I hope this helps :)
