If I'm not mistaken, you're supposed to request a re-roll if the winner of your giveaway is suspended.

make a support ticket on steam and tell them he stole your key. you don't even need to say it was HIM specifically, just say you bought the cd-key and it was already activated, even tho it's yours. it's best for both revenge and getting your key back.

So you should lie to support?

No, don't listen. Just wait, if this user is temporary banned.

Revenge for what? Your post makes you sound very immature.

You should be suspended just for this post.

Unfortunately, stupid jokes in bad taste are insufficient grounds for suspension.

It it is temporary suspension wait for his suspension to be removed. If it takes more than 7 days, contact support for a re-roll.

He can't ask for a re-roll - the key has already been used.

I was in a similar position last week. I won a game, it was sent to me and I used it. When I went to mark it as received here I saw I was suspended. It was for 10 days initially, for honestly forgetting to use a gift I won a while back and another for allegedly regifting when I did not (this was reversed by staff afterwards). So it may be the person has been suspended for 5 days. Have you contacted the winner to find out? The first thing I done was contacted the person to explain, he understood the situation and was happy to wait 5 days as they will still get the value added afterwards.

But what if it's a perma-ban?

Just ask him to mark it as received after the suspension is over. He can do it even after 7 days.

If it's a permaban, maybe you can work something out with support. Support could see that you're telling the truth by checking your giveaways, the person who won your giveaway, and then going to that person's Steam account to see that they actually activated the key.

If longer than a week, contact support with proof that you gave him the game, and they'll correct your profile.
