So I got a version of L4D2

So someone just gave me a copy of L4D2 for my birthday. I saved the game to my gift inventory. But the thing is that the copy seems to have something weird; on it's title, it says: Left 4 Dead 2 (AU)

I've read it's a censored version, but I wanted to know if it's only censored if I live in Australia or for everyone. I live in Argentina, btw.

It's censored for everyone I think (ask steam support if you can trade in that one for a uncensored version)

^ He's right, you should try that.
Don't worry, the game is going to run fine, just with some tweaks: like the zombies do not burn with fire or something like that. You can check that on Wikipedia.

I'm from Argentina, too, and i can tell you that if you redeem that, it's going to be AU version. Talk to Steam support, they may give you an uncensored version.

Instead of shooting the zombies, in the violence-free Aussie version you have to negotiate with them.

you can get it uncensored, just tell steam support....
i got a l4d2 (de) through trading and they gave me (NA) version just activate it and make a ticket

I had a censored german version and I wrote to Steam Support and they have uncensored it for me. (I had it actived on my account)
