People always have a reason for blacklisting. That you consider their reasons not good enough to justify a spot on a BL is another story. But you're right on one thing: people shouldn't care about getting blacklisted. Some seem to attach too much importance to that.

The anime one is a very weird one, to be honest. As someone who has been involved in the running of a popular anime forums since the early 00s until 2016, I can understand some of the distaste and I've seen the shift in how it's advertised. Some don't realise that there is a big difference between what fans identify as being "anime" and "hentai." (I personally hate hentai). However, there have been some recent screen adaptions of adult manga that is aimed at younger audiences, which is plain wrong. They are blurring the lines and pushing more adult themes (or sometimes shows with fucked up undertones) out to younger kids. Even if it's censored, I get annoyed by that.
Blacklisting people because they like or dislike anime, or aspects of anime is pretty unreasonable though. I just add the games to my hidden list if I don't want to see them.

Oh I agree, there is a disgusting side to it which I mentioned above. BUT there are people, like me, who don't watch those type of anime, but still watch anime on occassion. Anime series like Snow White With the Red Hair, Attack on Titan, Kabeneri of the Iron Fortress, Iron-Blooded Orphans, 90 days, The 12 Kingdoms... (a few from memory) have none of that cutesy sexualised moe shite in them. ;) Of course someone attacked me once and said I was missing out on a lot by NOT watching shows containing moe or fanservice stuff. I am missing nothing.
As for what you said there about hentai, anime are just cartoons that are made in Japan. Some are for kids, some are not. Some certainly shouldn't be aimed at young audiences. Unfortunately, you have people working in (for example) Crunchyroll marketing who are pushing the trashy moe anime more than anything else. And that shite does make me ashamed to admit to anyone I know that I watch anime at all. Even if I have only ever watched one or two shows a year.

i have 14 people blacklisted, i only blacklist for 2 reasons.
1- you blacklisted me, that way in a few weeks you cant unblacklist me to get at my give, the fact that there is only 14 shows how many blacklisters actually do gives for me to notice im on there list.
2- won a give from me and didnt say thanks, i dont give a shit if it gets played or even sold, but at least have the decency to say thanks, i mean shit, even some bots say thanks pre win. i think like 2-3 of my give winners didnt say ty.
