I sure will. Reasons:

All the people that horded them on ST are gonna be out a lot of money.
People that traded lots of Dots's for expensive games (BOII for example) are gonna have a great day
The game appears to be pretty good.

I wish I could give my copy away... It really just feels like a better looking, but WAY less polished version of DotA.

The WC3 engine was great, the controls were fluid, everything worked well, and from what I've played of it, it just felt worse.

Uh Dota 2 wasn't traded for BO2. Dota 2s value is only like 10-20 or something.

Anyways. I have it, so I don't really care when it's out. Haven't even played it lol. Too addicted to garys mod.

Not even, it's worth about $5-10 right now. Back in October, it was selling for $50-100 , Back in December it sold for $30-40. It just slowly dropped down.

I think it's worth more now because when you get it you get the FULL game now. Pretty much.

Dota 2 was worth 50-60$ in December still. Got an awesome deal for mine.

sadly i'm not awaiting that day.
I'm not a pro player, but it's been days since my last game without a quitter.
When they release the game as free, i's going to be really hard to play with so many newbs... quitters, feeders, etc...
I guess valve should use a better matchmaking to restrict players with 500 victories to play with those who hasn't even played yet...

(i'm not criticizing ppl new to the game, i'm just saying there's going to be hard times...)

I'm not a Dota player but I agree, playing with unskilled people is a pain in the ass, it ruins the whole experience. I know because I'm a League of Legends player, and it happens just the same on ranked games.

MOBA learning curves are less of a curve and more of a wall, followed by a slight curve at the top of said wall. apparently DOTA 2 is supposed to have good tutorials at some point, so that might fix the issue.

community kind of sucks, extremely unfriendly to newcomers, got bored and stopped playing after about 2 or 3 hours. So no, Im not excited.
