EDIT4:
Ok since this has lost steam (hah) and I really need more people to make the giveaway valid, I will drop all cryptic pretense. The puzzle and the subsequent giveaway are NOT the end. Broaden your horizons! I said kitties (plural), not a singular kitty! :P
Your Illuminati skills are lacking :P

80+ Cube games? I'm jealous, damn near impossible to find them here. I got about 20, and had to import all but three.
Got 2 and 3. Not bad IMO. Also, I really need to play 3, I own that one. Sadly only the first.

I play just about any system if I can get my hands on it. Still got my PS2 (about 350 games), XBox (about 25 games) and Gamecube, and looking for a Dreamcast to complete that generation. :P

I was wondering what to do with all the unused keys and leftovers from 4-paks when I stumbled on this site, so I went a bit crazy :P
The gamecube had something like 500-550 games released in western regions, so it shouldn't be too hard! But yeah I guess if you knew nothing about the games it would be difficult.

Never played Gamecube growing up, was more of a SNES and then Playstation guy, and I don't even recognize any of those games. That being said, thanks for the public GA, it looks hilarious!
Welcome to the puzzling community, I hope you'll enjoy your stay. :)

So! I've decided to make my first puzzle contribution to the forums. I've recently joined the community, more of a lurker. I really enjoy how there's a nicely developed culture of solving puzzles to enter giveaways. I suck at most of them, but I guess I'll get there someday :P
I made the puzzle a screenshot guessing game. I've picked 5 obscure Gamecube games. Why Gamecube? Because I damn loved that system growing up :P I have some 80+ games for it.

Note: all games to be won involve kitties in one way or another, and all games are unbundled steam games. Have fun.

Which asks:
Before it has taken its symmetric shape, it enjoyed the sea. What was it?
Hint: This is related to the topic of the first puzzle. Any history buffs?
Answer: Dolphin, Nintendo Dolphin or Project Dolphin
Explanation: Before the Gamecube became that, it used to be called the Dolphin during development.
Solving this puzzle correctly takes you to the final GA: Catlateral Damage - 3 Copies
