Do you find this pack entertaining enough to warrant a purchase?

[Buy] Ready? Set! Buy! All in for the unbundled titles.
[Have] What a Tempest of repeats! Good thing that I already bought from past deals everything that seems to be interesting in this bundle.
[Skip] None of the games from this selection stands out according to my standards.

Dunno, maybe somethings...

No Blazing Chrome? So disappointing. (JK of course, though I really hoped to see it in a cheap bundle).

That's a good price for some previously unbundled stuff, definitely what I like to see.

I got myself: Town of Machine, Action Commando, Slater, SuperEpic and Everreach. Mostly just bought the bundle for the first two though.

I didn't even know Paul released two games this year (Town of Machine and Action Commando). He's the guy behind Gun Girl 2 and Super Panda Adventures, both of which are good underrated games.

Have to say I'm disappointed he bundled these two so quickly (but at the same time I can't complain, since they seem decent and are cheap to get now), he should really find a publisher that would market his games.

Also he is the guy behind Unloved. Wish he still kept working on Dimension Drifters.

Yeah, I didn't think Unloved was worth mentioning. Then again I haven't even tried the game yet (I do own it). Doesn't really look that good from the videos I watched, is it actually fun to play though?

Dimension Drifter doesn't look very appealing to me either and is currently the only game I don't own from him (yeah, I know it was bundled, ah well). I did just check the steam forum for that game and he claims he hasn't given up on it but that he needs to pump out some other games to make money so he can continue working on Dimension Drifter which doesn't sell well as an early access title and he doesn't want to rush the release.

Out of curiosity, what do you like about Unloved and Dimension Drifter?

Unloved is a bit of a weird game. You could say it's all about grinding, so because of that I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. The map and the items are random generated (from a pool of rooms) but you always have to do the same thing: Get the red key, then the blue key, then the yellow key then give blood and finally escape. After every game you get trinkets which you can use to upgrade your weapons, so you can play on a harder difficulty so you can get better trinkets so you can play on an even harder difficulty, etc. The game can be fast-paced, most enemies resemble Doom 2 monsters (since originally Unloved was a Doom 2 mod, also made by Paul). You can made different "builds" with the trinkets and the game has a few mutators so you to vary up the game.

I personally found it enjoyable (although I would have made the maximum level (which is determined from the trinkets' level you have) lower so you wouldn't have to grind THAT much to get all achievements). What I liked are the atmosphere and the fast-paced gameplay. Also it is quite simple, so you can play it while you are on auto-pilot after a long day. Also, it has 4-player coop, and I'm kind of a sucker for coop games. I mostly played with a friend who also enjoyed it.
The problems with the game are the grindiness, the difficulty steep (the last difficulty is quite hard and without a good team or a higher level player it's REALLY hard to get by and get the good gear to be able to comfortably play on it). The player base is really low (although when I played I've almost always found other people to play with). And the game lacks some QoL features, like showing the ping of a server or showing how many people are on a server, or player stats (like weapon damage after putting on certain trinkets).

I don't have Dimension Drifters, but from what I've seen it's kinda like Unloved but it's TPS. (I mean, it has monsters from Unloved and was made by Blue so I guess it must somewhat similar.) I also read the comments about it being put aside until Paul makes other games but since his comment was quite long ago - and haven't heard from him about this since then - I'm not sure when he'll finish this game, if he'll eventually do it.

There's a few up there that look decent, especially KUNAI. Not sure if I'll get it or not though.

Is it just me or does Town of Machine and Action Commando pretty much look like the same game?

Town of Machine and Action Commando are made by the same person. I took a look at game forums and apparently ToM is story driven with non-linear gameplay and inventory management and what not, while Action Commando is a spin-off with linear levels that's just focused on action.

At first, SuperEpic looked quite nice but after reading a few reviews... meh. I'll keep my dollar and pick something from my backlog if I want a roguelike/metroidvania.

Was going to grab 5 games for myself but after watching game play videos and reading reviews I opted to just get Kunai.

Really wish they'd make more of those. Some of the more interesting games Fanatical has got like Creature in the Well, Kunai (rebundled here), Iconoclasts, Blazing Chrome and most recently Wild Guns Reloaded debuted in Pick n Mixes rather than Mystery Bundles.

Aside from Everreach, and Ironcast which is currently gifted at the EGS, it looks like a solid selection - so much that, in fact, I already got many of them.

tbh there's a lot of interesting games in there no one's heard of.

Like Town of Machine and Action Commando actually look pretty damn good. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay actually looks pretty slick.

And they look the same, and having the release window of two months. And Action Commando 2 was scheduled to be released in June. Dev's been busy :D

Saw that. Didn't realize that the dev was behind some other indie games i've seen here on this site. Pretty cool tbh. I hope the games are good once I give them a whirl.
