The Stock AMD one. Stock AMD paste too. Is there a way to check for the proper name of the cooler?

Agree with sviat93 - the stock AMD stock cooler is bad, and the stock thermal paste is not great either. You should see way lower temps with a better cooler and paste. Good luck!

I didn't build it. (DONT KILL ME) I will most likely be resitting it with new thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5) this weekend. Will this lower temperatures slightly?

No, I don't really have another option. Also, the PC is BRAND NEW. I just got it July 10th! How can dust already be in it? lol

Sounds like the same issue I have under heavy load. The reason might be different in your case but for I found a lot of dust in/under the fan of the CPU (after dismanteling it). Cleaning it (twice a year) fixes the over heating problem for me. Checking it before u spend money doesnt hurt :)

dont worry thats ok.....
i have a phenom x4 9950(i know thats old im currently looking for a replacement but couldnt find anything) till 3-4 month ago cpu temp under heavy load went around 100 degrees celsius .......(that was for somthing around 2 years )....
after that i re-apllied thermal paste and the temp goes down to 80 under heavy load ...after that i oc ed the cpu a little bit(from 2.6 to 2.91 ) and the cpu still works like a champ....i didnt measure the temp after oc....
anyway cpu is hard to kill....

Hey, I have an AMD FX 8320 @ 3.5 GHz CPU, and underload (Playing BF4) I am getting temps of 80 degrees. (WITH core temp measuring) What cooler should I get that's GOOD, cheap and has support for AM3+ socket to keep my CPU a lot cooler? (Preferably under 55 degrees celsius underload) Thanks!
