I just got a nice mail from the Steam Support offering me a free game. They didn't even try to make it look good.
Everybody should be aware that this is not a mail from the real Steam Support and if you click that link you won't get a free game.

And now have a free game. Enjoy.

You're aware that an email can look like it's coming from support@steampowered.com even if it is a phishing one, right? "From" addresses are not checked against by most mailservers.

Really? All phishing mails I received (PayPal, Amazon, Steam, etc.) had some strange "support"-mail-addresses.

Really, it's one of the first things we learn in web design; how to send e-mails using forms and one of the options is who it says it's "from".

Gmail, for example, for such emails shows something like "mail@example.com via example.net" in the field "from".

That's funny: 'click her' ... 'thenk's for your Trust and' ... ahh, screw it ...

I would of traced it back and defaced their server for some additional amusement! Maybe have a picture of a chick screaming 'Ohhh you clicked me!!!'
