Studio Ghibli, it's most likely from an anime movie :)

Monteriggioni or the Assassin fortress on Tiber island... yes please :D

I'm always amazed how much work and detail went into the headquarters in the AC games.
For example I'm sure I have already played Unity for 100 hours and know dozens of different conversations between the servants at Café-Théâtre but recently I stumbled into a small room on the ground floor I've never noticed before, the kitchen and hear the major-domo having a quite funny awkward conversation with the black cook along the lines "Ah, so you're the cook. Good, good." "Yes sir. I've been working here for almost a decade."...

Unity is where I currently am. Already finished the main story and am now on Achievment hunt but I've mostly been playing PC the last few weeks. Although I have skipped Rogue and Chronicles, which I still intend to play, if you go chronologically.
I think with Unity it's actually good to be behind. While most major bugs were already fixed when I started playing it apparently the game was almost unplayably buggy when it was released. 2 of my friends tried to play coop soon after release and they said it was pretty much impossible.

I can't say for the PC version but the only real bug I've encountered in roughly 100 hours on PS4 was a mysterious cloud of fire because the fire-eater performer who was spitting it glitched out and went invisible. Oh yeah, and a couple of times I've seen a single person in the crowd hovering in the air at head height until you approach further and they drop down to the ground. (which is a bug that also existed in previous AC games if I remember correctly but as I've said I saw it happen 3-5 times in roughly 100 hours)
So in conclusion I would say no major bugs on the PS4 version anymore.

What I liked about Monteriggioni is that you get to see it in the past as well as in the present but if I had to pick just one I would probably go with the Jackdaw. I had already finished Black Flag and almost platinumed it before I realized I have a big ass mansion as well and I was still like Scew this. My home is at the sea! :D

I will stop rambling then about how awesome the Jackdaw is and let you discover yourself ;)

Heh, just teasing you. :D
Fortix is sadly a thing of the past. Now the new kids are all going on about that "Bad Rats" thing. :(

There you go, almost everyone seems to like that one! But I didn't love that one much when I had it, I even got rid of that.
I haven't played in a while and even had a tough time finding it on nexus but Clearsky Hideout was really great (not so much for size or anything but because it was so interactive... likely everything probably is now, but back then it was the best!)

Holy sh!t you read the OP and actually posted where the pics are from, and they're from games! We've got a goddamned genius here.
I like the first one, I'd love to live somewhere that actually has a winter these days.
I'd hate to live on the ocean, near a beach, etc.
That truck sort of reminds me of the one from Terminator 2.

But this is a Volvo, the pic you've posted looks a lot more like it.

As I am single now, Alfredo Linguini Paris apartment would be perfect for me for now, just to move out from parents.)
What better place to dream than in Paris?

Moriya Shrine from Touhou :3
as a joke pick, you just have to go with GREATEST CEILING COVERED WALLS IN GREATEST COUNTRY (original) :y

I like Ironforge's surroundings more than the city itself. I adore those snowy mountains. Although I admit that I spent a lot of time on top of the wagon near the bank during my Alliance years when the game first launched more than 10 years ago :P
My second pick would be Silvermoon City.

Dunwall Tower from Dishonored will suit just fine for a weekend getaway. During the week I'll be in town in Adam Jensen's apartment from Deus Ex: Human Revolution or in this nice modernist glass house from Mirror's Edge Catalyst. If all else fails, I'll probably just have to settle for this cozy little crazy mathematician's home from Kentucky Route Zero.

I think Adam Jensen and Rick Deckard must have the same interior designerI love this movie, and these shots
Glass house? No way for me:P

I actually wanted to post Deckard's McCoy's apartment from the 1997 Blade Runner adventure game by one time greats Westwood, but I couldn't find any high quality shots, so settled for Jensen's pad instead.
But then I forgot about this wonderful article. These are probably the highest quality renders we will get to see from that lost classic.

I don't know why, but I always leave my pg there when I quit the game (even if it's not needed)

Nice atmosphere with the warm sunlight in that shot. I like it a lot.

minimalism extremist here, althoug not modernist. i like rustic-like comfy and small wooden places, with fireplace and all.
Skyrim's honeyside in riften is perfect
.
thats for the farmer pleb side of me. as a king i would rule from a gothic style castle built on a hill, with sentinel and armed guard patrolling 24/7. to send a message of authority and power to the plebeians so they know whos in charge and stay quiet (for the dissidents there are always the castles cellars anyway).
two row of walls, one around the castle and one around the city. second one gotta be big, even bigger than the castle itself. so bandits and immigrants cant enter.
