So you entered for a game you don't care about and want to be put into a smaller grouping where you'll get a better chance? You'd be better off by not entering for games you don't want. Then you might still be 'unlucky'.

No, not everyone has that game. I don't have it. I could see the point if it was a dev giveaway with a 100% chance of winning, but this isn't the case.

Before you say such stuff you might want to actually go to and check someone's steam account and also, in this case, maybe actually read the linked thread, where what kataztrophik said was already said.

If a game has no contributor, there are going to be many entries, whilst if it has $30.01, there are going to be less people entering so better chance to win. Which one do you think is easier to win?

A giveaway with no contributor with 2000 entries
or a giveaway with$30.01 contributor with only 500 entries.

Which of these, would u think is easier to win and also there is karma.

With more contribution value you can enter giveaways with greater chances of winning.
