The Bridgertons - A series of 11 books in all (8 + 3 spin-offs), about the people of a family that lived between 1813 and 1827. I will speak of the second book: "The Viscount Who Loved Me". This tale is about the older brother (Anthony) of the Bridgerton family. It was a spectacular book and it made me laugh a lot and in my opinion is one of the best of the whole series. It was a very nice read and I recommend it for sure. The whole series is very good, and I'm sure anyone who reads it, will not regret it. I also read The Bird Box. Although I really liked the new movie (Sandra Bullock), in my opinion, the book is still far superior. Sorry for my poor English

The Metamorphosis (Dönüşüm in my language) from Franz Kafka
Well, it is a very effective and touching book for sure. It helped me make some decisions about how i want to live my life. It shows me what happens when you don't live like you wanted to be. (I mean, it made it clearer for me). Maybe it is not effective for everyone, but it is very effective if you are having similar problems yourself. My book includes his mails about the book (mails to her girlfriend and friends about the book) and they were great as well. It was great to see his thoughts about the book :)
I send you the request, thank you :)

Darktower series Lone gunslinger roaming wastelands picking up some unlikely companions. Trying to fix decaying worlds. Quite a trippy story definitely recommend.
Ender Series & Shadow Saga - Realy good science fiction story about genetically modified kids that do wars, politics and some touch of philosophy.

I finished Leah on the offbeat from Becky Albertally, it's the last book from her Shady Creek collection.
Most of people know at least the movie "Love, Simon" which is adapted from the first book of the series.
For really long I was terrified at the idea of trying to read in English and this series is the first one I never read in my native language. I like the style and the fact the author was formerly working with teens and kids and is now voicing what they couldn't say.
Of course, every books are LGBTQA+ friendly which is also important.

I recently read "The Brothers Karamazov".
Although I do not like Russian classics, but this book has left a pleasant impression.

I will try to reapply, I finished the book enigma: the battle for the code written by Hugh Sebag-Montefiore. This book describes not only how they broke but also how they got codebooks, enemy enigmas, ... . The book is not a fiction book but rather a documentary how the allies broke the naval enigma code. I really liked the book, it is good written, not a boring statements of facts, detailed and I like also documentary books.
The next book that I will read is the assault written by Harry Mulish
May I ask why my first application was denied?

Recently I read "The Farseer Trilogy" of Robin Hobb. And it was awesome! :)
"The Farseer Trilogy" includes three large novels. But this is only one part of the writer created a dark universe filled with intrigue and magic, kings and dragons, friendship and betrayal. In my opinion this saga is one of the best examples of dark fantasy.
I found only one little flaw and it is too simple language. But it can be the translator's fault.

The last book that I read was "Greyblood: Adventurer's Academy". It's a self-published LitRPG by Daniel Prince. Up until someone offered me this book, I didn't even know what LitRPG was (Literary Role Playing Game). I'm quite surprised at how the book turned out, it follows a half-orc protagonist in a society where being half-orc is prejudice so, without spoiling anything, Lugor has to deal with that situation while trying to achieve his dreams. The story is nothing revolutionary, and the book as a lot of technical problems (honestly the professional editor did a terrible job), but it was still a fun read.

I recently read two books by Madeline Miller! They were "Circe" and "The Song of Achilles".
It's been a long time since I read mythology books and I really liked these!! I loved Circe's character development and how the other book wasn't from Achilles's perspective but from his lover's.

I just finished Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey. Its a good sci fi story that centers around 2 very different protagonists. You have a young, idealistic spaceship captain and an older, jaded Detective. Their stories start differently but the end up connecting about halfway through. The story had a lot of creative ideas about how the politics of the solar system could be as humanity expands. I really liked that the science parts of the book seemed realistic. For example there is no lightspeed or hyperdrive or "warping" or wormholes, people traveling in space ships are subject to the regular laws of space, for example hard acceleration produces such severe G-forces that the spaceship crew must be given a special drug to prevent them from blacking out. All in all I really enjoyed it, it was like a cross between a small scale space opera and a sci-fi noir detective story.

As you progress into the saga (do be sure to read the short stories / novellas as well, most if not all are free and they help to bridge the books very well), you will see that instead of a "small scale space opera" it becomes a very large scale one :)
The science is indeed believable, as that is one of the cares the authors (James S. A. Corey is actually two people under one pseudonym) have always taken... to research enough to create plausible science elements to counter-balance the completely fictional ones that are central to the storyline (you know some of them by now).

The last book i read was The Neverending Story from Michael Ende very good book that i wanted to read it for a long time, because the original movie is one of my favorites, the continuation in the book and the ending are fenomenal :)
One of my favorite quotes from the book is:
I am the Water of Life,
Out of myself I grow.
The more you drink of me,
The fuller I will flow.

The last book I read was The Transmigration of Timothy Archer by Philip K. Dick. And the last one, that I fully recited was comix book- Wolverine from Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. This one is pretty good for oldschool comix.

I was reading The Gates of Anubis. I love it so much that I left it waiting to find a more careful version. The one who was reading does not separate the paragraphs well and I do not know if what I read is narration or the character's thought. Time travel and Egyptian gods, science and magic, tension and humor ... If you speak Spanish (I do not know if there will be translation) and you like the crime novel: The silence of the white city.

Last book I have read is Samuel Becketts- Waiting for Godot. After reading Eugène Ionescos-The Bald Soprano, my aunt recommended it to me. For the title of the book you may guess about the book content. The Godot is God and two homeless men are waiting for him to come at train station. The book is short, and like The Bald Soprano, doesn't directly talk about things it mean to tell. Those two men during two days of act talk about different things. In one moment they think about killing themself, in other they don't know what day is it or will the Godot come. The book is must read.
On my site I have list of books I have read: https://cobe10.github.io/books.html#read
