As for three favorite shows, do cancelled shows count?
TV SHOWS:
Hannibal. It was cancelled but that will never stop me from loving it. The show had perfect drama, cinematography, and metaphors galore. It was perfectly acted by Mads Mikkelson and Hugh Dancy and perfectly embodied what red dragon was. To this day I cannot believe it was cancelled. Sure, it starts slow, but once you get into it it's impossible to not fall deep into the story and characters. Its a show that instead of giving you instant gratification, it builds things up, and up , and up, and at the end of each season you are not disappointed. I can not recommend this show enough.
Sherlock. There is not much to say about sherlock really. When I first started it on season one I thought it sounded like the worst idea ever created. "A modern day sherlock? Man they will make anything these days for money..." boy was I wrong though. Sherlock is an adaption that puts so many other adaptions to shame. From the perfect victorian the modern translations, the acting (oh man the acting sooo good), the characters (all represented perfectly and fleshed out) and the cinematogrpahy (again, perfect.) its a can't miss show. With only three episodes every two or more years, its amazing the show is as popular as it is.. it just shows how good it is if british and american fans alike are willing to wait that long.
Doctor Who. Before you jump down my throat, I'm not picking doctor who just because its British or because I think some actors are hot etc etc etc... I just think the show is a lot of fun. I find the show enjoyable, goofy, and a perfect show for sci-fi lovers. Much like Lord Of The Rings (which is not meant as a comparison in quality) Doctor Who has its own world with unique characters and species. The Doctor himself can change himself when he dies.. which leads in a change of actors. I think that's the best thing about the show. Every so often the doctor changes, the companion changes, the writers change... etc. Its a show about change and adapting, which makes it feel fresh every time.
MOVIES:
Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King. Obviously I would pick the entire trilogy, but if you want just one, then the third one is my favorite. There is not much to say about LOTR that you probably don't already know. Its literally the perfect fantasy movies (in my opinion.) The action is top notch for its time, and really still is now. The characters are great because each is a different race (elf, hobbit, dwarf, human, etc...). The extended versions are really the versions I'm talking about though. The theater versions just leave out way to much for me to stand. I used to make fun of these movies so much before I sat down and actually watched one alone without telling anyone. From then on my mind was changed. I was proudly a tolkien nerd lol
Inception. This one is kind of bias because I am a huge huge huge Chris Nolan fan. I've loved his movies ever since my dad and I watched momento when I was a kid. (weird that I liked it, but we watched some darker stuff back then lol). Inception just has everything I love in a movie.. good characters, great sci-fi, interesting story, action (which is a bonus), just a lot of fun. The idea of jumping into dreams just sounds like so much fun and they used that idea to make a pretty serious and large movie out of it.
It's a Wonderful Life. Okay.. this one may feel out of place but I just love this movie. It's advertised as a christmas movie (even though the director used to say its NOT a christmas movie) but I usually watch it anytime I just feel down. It's about a guy (played by the amazing James Stewart) who is just down in life. Everything is going wrong and no hope seems to be left. Thats when an Angel named Clarence comes down to show him that life is worth living. Its a great movie about family, pushing through your struggles, and helping one another out. It has a cheesy but useful message and it executes it perfectly. Without Jimmy Stewart being in the movie I don't see it being half as enjoyable, the guy just makes everything likeable.
Sorry I got carried away!
Edit: I just saw that you meant movies of 2015? sorry! movies: mad max, inside out, the revenant. tv shows: daredevil, better call saul, can't think of a third one because I'm not much of a tv watcher these days.

Excellent mini-reviews. You put a lot of effort and it was fun to read. Sherlock is a brilliant show, I get excited whenever there's even a prospect of watching a new episode. As for Dr. Who - I've tried.. I just "don't get it" I guess. I'm not against weird or absurd stuff (The Mighty Boosh & Monty Python comes to mind) but it's too over the top for me I guess.
Like I've said, if someone makes an effort, even if they missed the 2015 part, and it's interesting, fun to read etc' I might consider them for Secret Sauce. So without further ado - You've got yourself an invitation, sir.

I'd have loved to contribute to your little survey, but I don't watch TV anymore, so I'm afraid my reviews wouldn't amount to much.
If you have any interest in anime series, though, I'll recommend ONE-PUNCH MAN as that's the least I can do to answer your question.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I watch a couple shows once in a while and I'd recommend the following
| Gilmore Girls - Kind of strange but I find it pretty funny and entertaining. It's a mom and a daughter dealing with everyday situations in their own little way and it's pretty funny.
| Criminal Minds - Really interesting crime show and the backstories are really in depth and intriguing. None of the episodes relate to each other so you can watch them in any order you want and it's just as enjoyable. It's also got a dash of technology which makes it more entertaining for somebody who knows what Garcia (FBI tech investigator) is always talking about.
| Untold Stories of the ER - Similar to Criminal Minds in every sense besides it's about hospital cases instead of crimes.

Very nice games you are offering! But I'm not asking for a chance (won't be entering anything for a while), I just want to share my love for these movies and shows. (: I'm kinda bad at reviews though...
Movies (in no particular order)
1. Mad Max: Fury Road I never watched any of the previous Mad Max movies, so I don't know how it compares. But this one is essentially one very long chase scene, and the action never stops. The movie held my attention from the start, and I don't think there's a single moment where I was bored. Also did I mention the visuals are amazing? I regret not watching it in 3D now. Just a thing to note: I felt that there was basically not much of a plot, but all the adrenaline filled scenes made up for that.
2. Kingsman: The Secret Service IMDb shows that it's a 2014 movie, but it was released in my country early 2015, so I guess it counts? There's quite a few sppy comedy movies in 2015 (Spy, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., which I recommend too, btw), but this one definitely takes the top spot. It's like the movie is made for my tastes. I found out about this movie through this poster, which then I thought: this movie is going to be fucking awesome. And I'm so, so glad I'm right. I love that it doesn't take itself too seriously, it's funny, it's clever, it's badass (especially Colin Firth, it's a shame he didn't survive), and it's a movie about spies (that's freaking cool)! The violence might not be for everyone though.
3. The Theory of Everything / The Imitation Game Ok I cheated a bit, but these two movies had very similar vibes (and yet still different from each other). Both are biopics about two famous minds (Stephen Hawking and Alan Turing respectively). Eddie Redmayne portrayed Hawking wonderfully - how his motor functions deteriorated, his facial expressions. Benedict Cumberbatch's performance was perhaps more subtle, but it affected me more. The ending scene broke my hearts (both of them), and made me cry. I guess you could say that The Theory of Everything had a sweeter tale, and a happy ending, despite all that Hawking went through. If you are the type that needs action in your movies, this will bore you to death. Otherwise, please go and watch it.
TV Shows (also not in any particular order)
1. Daredevil / Jessica Jones I have to admit, even though I love the MCU and comic book superheroes in general, this two would have been placed on my to-watch list and only gotten watched much later if not for David Tennant. That said, I think I have made the right choice. Daredevil is completely different from whatever Marvel has been offering in the MCU, and Jessica Jones improves upon Daredevil's 'formula' (I don't mean that they are similar) and makes it even better. Daredevil is dark and gritty, Jessica Jones is twisted and creepy. And I love both of them. Both Vincent D'Onofrio and David Tennant were fantastic villains, especially Tennant, he is the kind of villain you hate to love, but you do. Definitely looking forward to Daredevil season 2 and the rest of Marvel Netflix shows.
2. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell I don't think many of you know this, it's a BBC adaptation of a novel with the same name. It's only 7 episodes long, and highly recommended. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell tells a story of two magicians, who are keen to bring magic back to England, but of course things never go as expected. It's like an enchanting and beautiful work of art from beginning to end - there is love, and war, and magic. It's not easy to describe without spoiling things, so I'll just say that you should watch it.
3. Doctor Who A bit of a cheat too, but it'll be a sin for me not to mention it. Season 9 aired in 2015, so I guess it sort of counts. I'd say this is the best season since it came back on TV. Peter Capaldi's performance is top notch in the season (if I haven't mentioned this enough elsewhere already :P), and the penultimate episode in this season (Heaven Sent) is up there as one of the best episodes I've seen. If anyone needs motivation to get up to speed with Doctor Who, it's this season.
Oh, I forgot to mention: Happy belated cake day!

Hello SG people (also cats, aliens, monsters - you know who you are!)
So a few hours ago I realized I just hit 1 whole year of using this cool site! Yay for me!
It's rare for me to persistently go back to one, somewhat social site, and it's not just because I'm getting free games.
We got such a diverse community here. A lot of creative, awesome, nice and rude (I like both types! Free speech bitches!) individuals.
Before I started using SG I've never tried to create online friendships. I never spent any money on digital friends to make them happy.
SG changed all of that.
I'm getting mad, happy, sad, excited, inspired and everything in the emotion spectrum from being here. Mostly reading though :)
So thanks everyone, I mean it! :D
Well now, let's get this going:
In celebration of this occasion I've picked 3 games that are constantly on users wishlists.
Countdown to the start of the giveaway!
Also, my super special group (Secret Sauce) will get the 2 other games.
Instead of thanking me or just bumping the thread - tell me the 3 best TV series and 3 best movies for 2015! Extra points if you can explain why! (like a mini-review) for at least one of them.
I'll pick 25 users here to invite to Secret Sauce based on their recommendations so they'll be able to enter the 2 other giveaways (and future ones)!
Edit: My fault for not being clear enough - I meant top 3 movies/series of 2015, not those you catch up with 10 years later :) Sorry!
I'll still consider those who invested time and thought into their comments.
The winning game by popular vote:
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor
Good luck everyone!
