Hello everybody!

I'd like to make a one time giveaway group.

What do I mean?

I'm looking for 31 people or 15 (depends on the interest rate) who are willing to giveaway a game around 20-30P (the best if you have left a game from the steam summer sale.)

Rules are simple you can choose whatever game you want around 20-30P, the only condition is noone should have the game, but we will discussion it.
Everyone have to make a giveaway and everyone have to enter to it,this is why you have to choose a game which noone have.So we will have 16 or 32 giveaway. This is why I suggested the steam sale games, because there is a chance to you wont win anything and then you won't have a big loss.

Why is it good?

Well, there is nothing fancy, but you have a better chance to win cause of the low number.
And I want to make a little statistics. And I can post the outcome if you wish.

So if you wish to join to this event and willing to giveaway one game then post a comment here and I will add you to my steam friends list.

To prove it its not a leech I will do the first giveaway.

Edit1: I decrease the number to 15people,because finding game will be hard enough.

Edit2: 4 People joined to this idea,if we hit the number 8(with me) I will make a group.

Looking for 15 members to have 16 giveaways - you really don't need a high degree in math to see there's something wrong with your logic.

OP + 15 more members = 16 members. 1 giveaway for each member = 16 giveaways.

You shouldn't need a high degree in maths to figure it out but apparently it's still a bit tough for some people.

"This is why I suggested the steam sale games, because there is a chance to you wont win anything and then you won't have a big loss."

If there's going to be 16/32 giveaways with 16/32 entrants in each one, then your chances actually are very good. Even if you don't win, it's still a big loss since you're losing a game you started with.

Also, coming up with 16/32 games worth 20-30 points that none of the 16/32 members have is going to be tricky, moreso if there are more members.

I agree with you in the games part,it will be hard to find games which noone has,but I dont think its a big loss if you bought a game in summer sale for 5$ and lose it,it will be big if you buy it now its true, but you have big chance in winning so there should be some risk.

Really good odds or not, there is no guarantee you'll win and if you don't, you're still down a game and the money you spent buying that game. It is a loss.

Technically it's a loss either way since you're losing what you started with, there's just a chance to gain something back.

Why do you think that?

I don't see anything wrong with this kinda group - personally I'm just not interested in random trading like this statistically is.

Pretty true. Might as well trade it off for something lol.

1) Group isn't even made yet. Already seems pretty unorganized

2) You are still new. Not trying to be biased but a lot of newer people try to do these kind of groups for free stuff. Yea you say these are the rules but I've seen many admins of groups bend the rules to benefit themselves.

1, I didnt made it yet, because I found 2 people who joined to this.

2,Yes I'm new,but I can prove my self I will make the first giveaway and if I dont send the game then others will leave, its easy.

How can it be a leech group if everyone has to make a giveaway?

People tend to define "leech group" as a group you can join and win things without making any contributions. In order to join in the first place though, you'll have to contribute so that's not relevant.

Also, not sending the gift could happen in any group.

I can enter that but you are on steamgifts just 1 month and you have 2$ contribution value.

I might be interested in this, but the part about other people not owning the game is a problem... (train simulator rofl)

So, each game given has to be one that none of the other 15 own?

It may be pretty hard to find 15 such "triple A" titles (ie 20-30P) unless the members don't have many games. Other than a willingness to give away a game, are there any other criteria for membership?

You can join if you are willing to giveaway a game.
