Yeah, I didn't see the point of making a new thread when I posted this.

So if you want people to read it, make a thread rather than reply to an existing one?
The majority of the people in this thread are making fun of it or bashing it which leads me to believe they aren't interested in SR4. Anyone looking at the achievements is most likely interested and would then see my post with more updates.

because some people don't wanna look in that thread, whereas this one gets right to the point. I find it pointless for you to have posted in that thread.

Yay items that should be in everyones game but now aren't to sell more pre-orders and will most likely be 5 dollar DLC for everyone else.
Well at least the PC version is cheaper....

SR3 was so terrible... but at the same time it was great because, despite being a piece of garbage, it just kept making excuses for you to have fun in various ways. They've basically managed to perfectly capture the "bad popcorn action movie" (e.g. Michael Bay) in video game form. So I will definitely be getting this, but I'll either wait for a bundle or a big sale. Wish they would have moved on from the purple, though.
Anyone got a smartphone and done a Saints Row theme? Easy mode is using MetroStation for the icons, all you need is the exact hex code of "Saints Row Purple" (basically, royal purple). Some of the Android theme experts could probably do it a bit better. (I don't mean the phone you have in SR3, I mean an SR-themed smartphone that fits the style and all that.

How was it terrible? It's one of the best, if not the best open world game out there.

I gotta say, SR3 caught my eye as a kind of game that I wouldn't buy at retail price, but when I finally got it on sale, I loved it and felt bad for not getting it earlier. The gameplay is not bad, and there is nothing bad about its appeal either, to me at least.
It is intended to be the "bad popcorn action movie", and that's why we love it.

Indeed, it's sort of a parody, doesn't take himself seriously. I liked it, a lot.

Saints Row 4 will die without or just by borning, because GTA V will come and completely destroy it, Saints Row games are cool, but it's impossible to compare them to GTA, the SR3 was newer than previous GTAs do a lot of ppl prefer SR3, but it's impossible to compare Saints Row new game to GTA new game, Rockstar will sell a lot more.

Honestly SR4 looks like competition for games like Infamous/Prototype/etc....SR2 was more so competition to GTA series.
The games changed to much for it to be related or compared.
Watch Dogs is GTA5's competition.

Looks like the better game honestly also, can't wait for it. :-D

Sure, impossible to compare a well round fun game to a piece of thras that came late and badly to PC as was GTA IV.

You are basing your predictions on your personal opinion, foreseeing that a game will die just by borning. Cool.

Maybe I didn't expressed correctly, but everyone know GTA games, not so many ppl know even what is Saints Row. By ppl votes on internet practically most prefer GTA V instead of Saints Row 4 so it's not only my opinion, but I think is obviously that GTA V will make a lot more sales than SR4, since a lot of ppl are waiting since GTA IV for the new game a long time, I'm not saying SR4 will be bad I would like to get it too, but mainly I will wait for GTA V.
EDIT: over 80% of people now prefer GTA V instead of SR4.

Maybe, I will wait for the "Mistake sale" that Steam will have with it 91% off with all DLC like I did with SR3.

uhhhh...mmm..neehhh...arrrrr...hmmm..ooaaaahhhhh... no.
weapon dlc is not enough of an incentive to preorder... especially when its either overpowered and gamebreaking as hell, or will soon be replaced by more interesting normal in-game gear.
now if you sold the game with a figurine of the dude holding that gun, or even just a model of that gun alone!, it'd be a different story.
