Personally, I thought a PS3 was worth getting just for the Ratchet & Clank games and the Uncharted series (and it was). Everything else was just gravy.

Just owning a console does not make one a peasant. Equally you don't need to own a PC to be part of PCMR. you just need to accept the superiority of the platform.

I went ahead and bought myself a PlayStation 4... (Gasp!)
I've just really been wanting Guitar Hero... I've always wanted a Guitar Hero or Rock Band from the PS3 days, but as a high school student, we just didn't have the money for it. I remember back then all my gaming was done on an old PC which can't run anything more than flash games.
But then I just saw this awesome PS4 bundle on sale last week and I couldn't stop myself. I even had it shipped halfway across the world, what was I thinking!
Please, have a train to appease the Gaben: Choo choo!
EDIT: Just played a game and it immediately threw me to My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark. The Kill played not soon after. I love it already. Haha
