Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines would be the game I tell people to play along with the original Fallout series if you never have experienced PC gaming RPG's.

Masquerade: Bloodlines, i played that game a long time ago, it was weird but cool. I would recommend you to play it (i didn´t play it with the patch but i am guessing it can only get better).

Singularity while i enjoyed it is nothing special, so i would give it a pass.

I have no idea about Gun.

Vampire. Biggest replayability, play at least twice, one normal and one Malkavian playthrough. Also there are some good total conversion mods.

I played GUN many many moons ago, I remember that I didn't rushed through game like a buffalo through open field. The wild west and Indian prophecies setting was quite a new in a gaming world so that was a pleasant addition.

I left Singularity to be the last because as much as I enjoy all that post-war secret experiments it was waaaaaaaay to short. Even with a gameplay mix from all our favorite franchises the length gave it a negative effect.

I would say gun, I have actually played the game through multiple times and own it on multiple systems (psp and pc) it is basically a open world rpg set in the wild west. the story is great as it unfolds and there's hundreds of side quests to play along the way. I don't remember getting bored once in Gun. The graphics are still great to boot.

I didn't like vampire the Masquerade much. I tried playing it a long time ago and got to the first boss dude in the sewers and just quit because I couldn't get into the role-playing at all, I know a-lot of people like it, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Singularity is great too, hidden gem and all that as others are saying, but in terms of gameplay hours even the little bit of masquerade beat it out. (like 5 or 6 hours I think.)

Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption was even better then Bloodlines, but since Redemption is not available on steam I would definitely go with Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
