Saw the sale thingy on the Steam pop-up window, and the items are already listed on SteamCardExchange, so I thought I might as well make the post. :D
There is a dev stream on Sunday, no idea about when exactly the rewards will be available though (maybe earlier, maybe only Sunday).

I don't know, but you can do what I do to mute Twitch and still get drops. Just mute it via Windows advanced sound options.

This is not on Twitch. This is a broadcast on Steam. besides that, I don't think you get Steam drops from Twitch for that matter. Twitch is for game item drops.

Also, no, you don't get Steam items from Twitch drops, except if the game items you get are in the Steam inventory (Don't Starve Together does that for example), but it'll be in that game's category in your Steam inventory, not "Steam" category of the Steam inventory, if that makes sense.

In my experience, Twitch drops are unaffected by however format you run the stream. Same with respect to Steam streams. That includes whether it's muted and unmuted. I've always had the streams muted. What doesn't get your drops is when you're trying to run simultaneous streams. AFAIK, whichever is deemed the active stream will get you the drops, so it's best to just watch one stream at a time.
Error on my part, I have forgotten about the few games I have that do have Steam drops. I'm used to them being in game drops. Very few of them are still tradeable, but I've yet to dabble into that, which largely is why I forgot about that. It's super rare. Anyway, point stands that this is far from a Twitch matter anyway.

Yes, it only works on one stream at a time. Two streams of the same game won't "boost" the time, and two streams of different games will only make progression on the first one.

It was a surprise that emoticons repeated, since on the SteamDB or Steam Card Exchange page, only those 3 Backgrounds are repeated on both 2023 and 2024.
So didn't expect the emoticons from 2023 showing up as well.

Usually SCE are faster and having complete list earlier.

I've had the stream on for over an hour now, can confirm I only got the 5 emotes, no backgrounds. I already had the 2023 items, some users above said they got some items from the 2023 event.
Maybe the backgrounds will be for Sunday's stream?

Spreading the drops out across different streams is pretty annoying. On the plus side they seem to be marketable again this year, so if you miss the stream you’ll probably be able to pick them up for like 3 cents each.

I get that it's annoying on one hand, having to tune in multiple times, but on the other hand it gives a chance to people that missed one day's streams... But, well, might as well just give everything everyday?
I suppose it just makes sense when you think how those drops are designed to grow viewership, not just hand out items for free, lol. Different drops on different days = more viewers every day, not just a spike on the first day.

I watched the stream yesterday night (around 00:00, GMT+7) for over 10 minutes without any drop, I accidentally switched out of the stream and came back for another 10 minutes without luck still (I watched it directly on Steam, while playing game). I wonder if the timer accumulate and if I did it wrong somewhere.
Looks like I missed the first day drop, let's hope today will be the day :D
