I thought if it was part of Steam settings limit that they could only drop each 24 hours, so next drop should be around 20:00 UTC since they have done that yesterday, if that really happens, I might explain that to ease/help them with people upset not seeing drops at first time.
But... well now offline, can't really help checking that, idk what else to say to help what they posted at all. 😪

I'll write something in the main post to remind people to remain polite. Drops are a courtesy, not a right. The main point is the broadcast to talk about the games, not the drops...
Reminds me of people getting upset when Epic Games servers crashed, and other similar things.

Yep, more likely they're promoting and even revealing products/games/events for their own game through those platforms, so that's their main objective, drops are just extras for people to enjoy with their announcement.
It's not first time that some Steam Broadcast Rewards to have problem at all.
So hope this one will sort out soon since their event lasts until Feb 12.
But agree with the frustration caused by following their instructions what they mentioned but in the end nothing appears at all.

I wonder if the backgrounds appearing on the event page were just an issue with indexing, and were just supposed to be items for the game, not the event. When you think about it, we only know of the backgrounds because of the database websites, not the event announcements... I think?

This is by far one of the worst drop event by Dovetail, do hope they clarify on what's what etc, spending so many hours stuck having to watch their streams for absolutely nothing seems like a really sinister marketing strategy so far this year ...

All items drops after roughly 5 minutes and are immediately tradable and marketable. Everyone's selling at minimal price, though.
