+1 omg BFBC2 + Vietnam DLC are the best war games ever done.

+1 to Burnout series too, i dont care about realistic driving, but i love crazy driving games, and burnouts are the best on the genere

+1 too to Mirror's Edge too. One of the single player games i enjoyed the most. So original. I wish they wud make a 2nd part :(

Lots of games, just look at the list of companies that EA has bought and dismantled over the years. The issue isnt can EA publish good games, its how long can EA hold on to a company before they kill it.

Mass Effect series
Dead Space series
Mirror's Edge
Medal Of Honor (first 3 games + expansions)
Old NFS games (MW would be the last one even if I actually enjoyed some newer NFSs)
The Lord Of The Rings - Return Of The King
The Lord Of The Rings Battle for the Middle Earth series
Crysis series
Shank series
The Saboteur
Bulletstorm
American McGee's Alice
Dragon Age: Origins (I found 2 to be OK but not as good as the first)
Valve games?

I have to be honest here - EA is a crappy company and it tends ruin franchises but not with bad game (if you take the game as a stand alone entity) but by taking stupid marketing & management decisions and by ruining it's essence. Have a look at any AAA EA franchise and you will notice the new games are turning into something else. Mass Effect 3 was a good game but no way it's as good as the first game. They basically turned an action-rpg into an action game (if you take a look at Shank and Valve games you won't see this trend since EA is only the publisher and does not own the franchise).
However, not all EA games are bad, even if it's only a small part of what EA releases every year.

This.

They are a crappy company but I have enjoyed all of their games.

I agree. Their games are sloppy and make a lot of mistakes here and there too, but the game is still enjoyable. Like Battlefield 3 as an easy example made a lot of stupid mistakes like not implementing all the maps in all the game modes so it feels like only 4 maps can be played sometimes. The game is still good, but there is some unavoidable problems they came across from pure laziness and impatience.

EA has published extremely good games and still does, I just wish they'd bury Origin and the DLC / online pass sh*it and would come back to Steam.

Honestly, I feel that it has one of the best stunt systems in any racer and I love the (literal) explosiveness of the races.

  • Mirror's Edge
  • Burnout Revenge (Am I really the first person to mention this? Seriously??)
  • Need for Speed series, Underground through Carbon (though less so for MW)
  • SSX series (the new series revival game was meh, but back in the day, SSX Tricky was awesome and SSX 3 was pretty great too)
  • also, props to EA for their work on iOS/Android development. They didn't always make great ports, but they weren't terrible usually (coughcoughtetris thocough) and sometimes they were pretty good (Mirror's Edge as a 2D side-scroller worked surprisingly well and the NFS games were successful as ports anyway)
