Launch events

I have never been to a launch event and probably never will

I went to the midnight release of Assassin's Creed 3 here in the UK.

I've bought lots of games on midnight release (Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption come to mind), but never like a "release party".

I've been to a few midnight launches, but probably won't be doing it again any time soon. Seem to always end up queuing for hours, get home, play the game for 30 mins then go to bed. Doesn't really seem worth doing when you can order online and have it delivered the day before release in some cases. but maybe that's just me getting older ^^

Seems cool, I've never been to any of those and I'm pretty sure they don't do things like that around here.

I've been to some, but my brother has been to far more than I have. Definitely not going for the Halo 4 launch though o_o''

If there was one close to where I live I would if the game interested me, never going to happen though.

Can't remember how many launch events I've been to but they are definitely more fun when you know the people running the events.

It's a reeaaally small country between Austria and Swiss...It would've only taken about 7 hours to drive there ^^
