I paused my Monthly as soon as I saw the early unlock. Visited their site several times this month and it showed the "paused" button next to my account. Today it was active again!
So if you paused June check your account again to make sure it still is.

Could it be that since they started charging people last Friday for June's bundle, that the pause button is now for the July bundle?

Hmmm good question. No idea how to check that. But maybe you are right and I panicked over nothing.

That is how I understand it to work. Once the billing occurs for this month (for everyone else), you are automatically unpaused for next month.

I think you can see that in the account settings, mine un-paused too and when I paused it again now it says that it's paused for June. I saw people complaining about the same thing for a few of the previous monthlies as well (after they actually got charged).

I can't check if I got billed as I have an subscription. Well let's be on the safe side and keep it (re)paused until early June. I can always undo it if it turns out it was paused too long.

You should see purchases for each month during your subscription. In Humble, check the Purchases tab - I have one for May 25th showing I purchased the June monthly. You won't see deductions on a credit card for prepaid subscriptions, but because they allow pausing / not purchasing a month, they still need a 'purchase' entry for that month to mark when you're billed against your prepaid amount.

Wow!

Good thing I saw your post, had no idea I would be charged...

Well it might not actually charge you now, the ones reporting that were automatically unpaused before the auto-charge date, they might have fixed that problem already

I was unpaused as well...

Yeah but the auto-charge day was about 5 days ago, so even if you're unpaused now it shouldn't charge you for June and that pause would be for July but then again just to be sure pausing good I paused mine a second time too plus it can be resumed anytime

That's what I thought at first, but your second comment (about people being charged in previous months) scared me a bit, so I paused it a second time (just in case).

A warning on top of your warning: I paused my account for the month that had MMO microtransaction currency BS as the early unlock. It reverted to unpaused after the Friday the payment was supposed to have been made, had it been unpaused. I checked with Humble Support and they told me that if I wanted to pause it, I needed to pause it again. That was wrong, at least in my case.

I had a change of heart based on fear of missing out and left it unpaused. When it turned out Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, was a late unlock, I was briefly ecstatic, as that was #1 on my wishlist would have justified my decision. It turned out that even though it was not paused at the time the new bundle dropped (for June, this coming Friday), the pause was apparently in effect at the time of the scheduled payment (which for June, was last Friday). It unpaused after the scheduled payment date - perhaps because of it, as others noted above - and it did not make a payment the day the bundle changed-over.

As a result, if anyone changed their mind and now wants Destiny 2, I would not trust that the unpaused account will buy the bundle for you this Friday. In that case, I would re-pause my subscription to avoid a duplicate and buy a gift copy (or better yet, have a friend subscribe for the month via referral code, netting you a Humble Wallet credit). That shouldn't be necessary, as you should be able to rely on what Humble Support says, but it seems there are no do-overs for support giving the wrong answer, and this would prevent either missing out or getting a duplicate copy for the month.

That is some serious bad luck, especially after you contacted support. Sorry to hear that.
But it explains why it got un paused. So I freaked over nothing. Well better safe than sorry. Thanks for your explanation.

How it works: When you pause it - it's ONLY for one month.
3-4 days before the current month ends (the one you paused your subscription for the next month), it that goes back to your regular planning.

I hope i'm making sense and it's easy to understand. At least this is how it happen to me.

Example:
Step1. 5th of May i see i don't like the early unlock for June. I pause it.
Step2. 28th of May my subscription is un-paused automatically but i don't get the June pack.
Step3. If i don't pause it again, i'm getting the July pack.

If you paused the subscription successfully, there is no June 2018 Humble Monthly in your library.

Could check your billing history (on humble setting page, by 'change plan' - 'cancel plan').
Should say when you paused and 'May 25, 2018 Skipped a Month' above that. hopefully that's decent confirmation.

Same thing happened to me. I noticed it a couple days ago and paused it again immediately.

Oh my god thank goodness I saw this topic. I paused my sub last week after still holding my hopes up for other unlock and I just found I had to pause it again.

This COULD be related to the many policy updates following May 25th, I certainly hope I don't have to do this every month again.

I was paused for June's bundle and got charged anyway. I then cancelled my monthly subscription just to make sure i won't get charged again.
Checked now the account and it's still cancelled for now.

Payment for June's bundle happened last Friday, you paused your July's bundle.

It sorta makes sense that the subscription is unpaused on the billing date (a week before the paused bundle is released), but it's certainly confusing.

What makes no sense at all is that after the unpausing the "next billing date" is shown as the date you would have paid for the month you paused, rather than the date the next payment is actually due (dunno if this bug is peculiar to those like me who generally pay early for immediate access to the initial revealed games).

Yes, the date has bug.
I paused my subscription at Tuesday. The date was changed to October.
Friday, the date was switched to September again.
I have to wait for 1st June to check again.

Mine unpaused itself after I paused it for this month.
Pausing a second time, stayed paused.

Same thing has happened to me last three times I paused.
