Hey guys, been wondering if any of you had a similar problem as I did.
So I bought Stealth bastard deluxe on steam, only to end up finding out that the bloody thing doesn't even get past the logo, giving me exe errors all the time.

Nobody knows a solution, so that's money right out the window.

I am still kinda furious about it, so I just go ahead and ask: Did you guys had similar experiences? And if you did, how did you react? Because it's pissing annoying for sure.

KOTOR2.
I was supposed to go talk to Goto, but the event that was supposed to trigger it never happened, despite doing everything I could on that planet and every other.
I guess it worked out OK though, since I never got to the horrible incomplete ending.

Install the restoration mod for Kotor 2! It adds a lot of stuff in that was removed, and fixes a few errors like that.

It still feels fairly imcomplete to be honest. But yes, it is a must.

Maybe it's just my hardware, but FEZ keeps crashing on me at the same point right at the beginning of the game. Damn you, Fish. :(

I've had major problems with fallout 3. I really wanted to play it, but I kept getting "the bngame has stopped working" error. So I was really angry and sent them angry letters. Turns out that lots of people had been experiencing the same problem and there were different solutions on the internet. I researched them and I tried them all and the last one I tried worked.

But still, they should've at least fixed that.

My Dead Rising 2 can't even start because it can't connect to GFWL. I'm still mad at Capcom for the terrible choice of including GFWL in most of its games... i didn't buy anything from them since.

I know I had to pull some craziness to get it finally working, but I did eventually get it working.
Here's what worked for me (yes, seriously... and I am sooo glad GFWL is dying):

Create a new Windows Admin account, start the game on that account to decrypt it, then you'll need to download an update (Alt-F4 to exit the game as requested), start the game again to activate the game on your GFWL account, then exit it and apply full security permissions for your main Windows account (you'll have to type in the login name) to Dead Rising 2. I just did the whole folder, though I may have only needed the deadrising2.exe.

CaveStory no longer loads for me and there's nothing I can do to fix it.

I also had issues with Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines where it would crash after I finished a quest so I never got to finish the game.

Gothic 3 kept getting the Where is the Guru? crash...and I was so keen to play it as well.

When I was playing HoN I used to have to update it on one computer (where it refused to play) and then copy across the install folder onto the computer it did play on (but refused to update).

There is an unofficial fan patch that fixes pretty much all the problems with Vampire - The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Definitely worth getting before you try to play it.

I played it when it first came out, bought on CD etc.

I'm thinking of picking it up again when it goes on sale again, so maybe then I'll, uh...lemme check my backlog...nevermind. I really want to finish it though. :(

BIT.TRIP CORE doesn't work good anymore, games is off-beat and therefore unplayable. That's a shame because I completed it on Easy and would like to do on Normal too.

Burnout Paradise from the humble origin bundle
Half of the online services where offline at the point that i bought it, the game ignored my dpi settings so the config dialog's 'ok' and 'cancel' buttons disappeared. And the game insisted on taking a snapshot with my webcam for my 'avatar', but crashed because it was incompatible with the windows 7 64bit driver model.

beyond good and evil (retail, pc)
fails to install because the tages copy protection driver is incompatible with 64bit operating systems.

Frozen Synapse and Sonic Generations, first one couldn't even make it start and second just crash after a certain level and next time i try to continue it just runs at ~5 fps no matter what i do.

Tried all the fixes i found out there for both games but nothing changed. Found some others games that were a pain in the ass to make it run (like Hitman: Blood Money, Just Cause and GodMode) but i managed to run them.

Would be great if people would not only post the game but also the issue they had because for some of the mentioned games I have no clue what went wrong on their end.

I for one don't really recall any game right now that was severely broken. I'll probably remember a few if the names get mentioned though I guess. The only game I can think of right now is "Gone Home". It has this issue that you will end up getting 0,5 FPS if you load a saved game. And there is no fix other than starting a new game. Quite upsetting. I wonder if it's fixed by now.

Got a response from LoA support. They say that in the next 10 days a patch will be released that adresses most of the 32-bit problems. Wich should solve the issues i'm dealing with and who knows maybe yours as well. ;)
