Sorry I don't know what happened between mods and users lately
But I hope you're not "angry" or anything at us
Because.. I still love you <3
Moderators are people, they make mistakes too sometimes

What did I miss (again)? It always feels like all the drama happens something off-screen, for me it looks like at some point some active folks from here are suddenly leaving without a trace (while remaining active on Steam itself) or getting banned (sometimes permanent). I appreciate support stuff work, but it's just weird

Those individuals who are no longer with us have failed to adhere to four (or even all) of the "tips" in the OP.

Well, I thought it's not that bad as...
checks your steam wall
What the hell is that?
google this word
What the HELL?
I'm so confused now. I thought those tips in the OP are common sense and no one would do this, so many souls lost for such dumb reasons

There's a gray cloud around these forums will be always below staff. They may never understand that or you may never care enough.
It became with a inside group(s) thing, reached giveaways, forums, then went to staff. It wasn't that bad. Later, they decided to censor lots of users due their opinions with subjective reasons (the list of forbidden opinions has been increased lately), the gray cloud just increased and here we are. Check the beggining of this thread to understand how it was written at the beggining. That's how it has became a support problem.
So, the active folks had to decide: like it or lump it... but staff contributed just a bit with that. Mainly happened because the first part (before reach staff). edit: added parentheses

Really? I hadn't noticed. Maybe I should test it to see if it works. D

WTH was all that about? o.O
I srsly don't understand why people risk their hard-built (in some cases, anyway) levels and destroy their future on this site.

Avoid bothering the Mods outside of SteamGifts.
Use the block function of steam and stop banning everyone for stupid reasons -.-

Lately, I've been on a tear, hammering people left and right, and I'm not the only one. Despite rumors to the contrary, we Mods are in communication with each other and fairly consistent in our responses. We do this because we "check" each other. If one of us makes a mistake, the others are there to correct it. If one of us needs help with something, the others are there to lend a hand. We work as a team, and we let each other know what is going on with the site.. As a result, it is inadvisable to try playing us off against one another.
With that said, I would like to remind our users of some common-sense techniques for staying out of trouble. We Mods prefer to let our community police itself, but some individuals have been lacking in common-sense, recently. Here, then, is a cheat-sheet to avoiding The Hammer™.
