Random people adding me on Steam

Phishing bots. They only talk if you insta add them.

I have same thing happened to me 3 times already. 3 times I refused the invitation.
Don't know what kind of sorcery is this.

They will tell you to add their friends. It's a phisher.

Nothing to worry about imo. Look at me. 224 friends but I only know like 20% of them. This is just sad. ;(

Don't accept adds from level 0's. Solves a whole heap of problems.

I accept all requests. As long as you don't open the links they give you, you are safe. BTW I like when they say: My friends what to trade with you... and I have only a booster pack in my inventory :D

Yeah, this is happening to me too right now. I always check first, if i won anything here, so maybe someone wants to give me my reward, but they look like random people. I added one of them, and it tried to made me a "great offer". I removed him.

ya copy all the text they sent you, go on there profile, report for phishing and past their text on the reason thing

This is digital analog of silent phone call.

I simply decline all level 0 accounts with a non public profile.. One time when I did accept once a dude said that his friend wanted add me.. Yeah right. Instadeleted him... :) So beware and ignore all those requests.
