Did you mean like this? You use the three of the ` (to the left of the 1 on most keyboards) backwards apostrophe thing both before and after whatever you want in the code block.You can also do a single one on each side for code in a single line mixed with regular text, for when you're trying to explain a code (other than that one). ~spoiler~

Ok, I finally get what I was doing wrong, I got them mixed and thought it was just one ` to get the thingy. Guess that happens when I'm making GAs at midnight and barely awake.

Yeah, I tried to find a thread to see if I could find information, and the most recent one I found was 7 years old. However, if you click the arrow next to the Help button at the top, you get several choices. The very first one is Comment Formatting.Or, if you can't see the arrow, you can click the Help button, which will take you to the FAQ page, then on the left side the Comment Formatting option will be available.

Or you can use ESGST's Comment Formatting Helper which gives you a nice GUI interface for formatting text so you don't need to remember the exact syntax each time.

I tend to prefer sticking to the basic set of features on SG just so I don't get frustrated later when I have to access it on mobile, since complements on Firefox mobile can seriously drag the performance so I limit myself to the bare minimum.

First of all, I wanna thank you for creating this thread. It's really nice (and rare!) seeing support in a gaming-centric community. It genuinely means a lot and makes me happy.
Secondly, I've been debating what to give away since last night. A big ticket item? Something leftover from a bundle? Then I remembered I played a wonderful game called What Remains of Edith Finch, which has a gay character in it! I absolutely LOVE this game. Made me cry so many times. Honestly THE BEST walking simulator I've ever played (so far).

ive got bls from average comments, from thanking when entering a GA, for not thanking when entering a GA. Dont bother, if anything it just helps us. Theyre filtering thenselves
Been here awhile and ive seen a bit of everything, but overall the community is better and more wholesome. The majority is nice people into the spirit of giving away- and, a wild guess, i think the majority is inclusive.

My blacklists doubled since making a giveaway here. I actually like getting blacklisted. I personally only blacklist troublesome winners or fake accounts, but if small-minded people would rather not take my games, then I have zero problems with that.

It's a badge of honor to be blacklisted by bigots and haters. And now they can't also be hypocrites and enter your GAs.

You want to use the "backwards apostrophe" (I don't know its proper name), on most keyboards it's to the left of the 1 key. Put three of them with no other text, on each of two lines, with no spaces. Everything you write between those two lines will come out in a code box (which is also good for preventing other codes from activating if you want to explain how a code works).
