So... Do you?
3 months ago I somatically created a clone and set him to run away entering all GA's for me.
I thought it was great-I had broken the system for he had the same taste as me and would only enter the GA's I liked.
but now he's rebelling claiming everything he's won is his and attempting to break into my steam account.
does any one have any advice?

Update: I have been locked in the basement-the clone has my laptop and all of my things. All I am left with is my phone. If you see me on steam do not aproch it's most defenitly my clone and deadly dangerous.
I hear banging on the door-he wants my authenticator. My phone will be taken away in a matter of moments send help.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

No, for the simple reason that I don't always add bundle/keys I get immediately, so when I choose giveaways I first want to make sure I added everything I already got to Steam. Also only participating in LV5+ and group/whitelist GAs which there aren't too many for me unfortunately

Not just for you there are way too few high level GAs in general. Everybody wants to be nice and inclusive... Bah
Level 0 -1 GAs: 1.263
Level 9+ GAs: 38

I never used any kind of script but I'm just curious to know how they work. Is there any filter for enter the games that you want or the script enter automatically in all giveways?

Where is the giveaway?
A week ago i saw a Lvl 1 profile with 500+ games won here and i was like.... "What a luck bastard"... I mean, right?
The less games you have, the higher the chance to win some.

Besides the fact that I don't see the purpose of auto-join scripts (why do people want to win a heap of trash, since most of the games are trash?!), do you really expect to see people admitting that they are using them? xD

Card farmers. SG provides a "service" of allowing farmers to enter only the giveaways for games they haven't farmed yet.

Nope. And I slavishly read every word of every description and every "reserved" comment in every giveaway, even when it's a $0.01 dollar bundle key that we all know is just there to +1 both the giver and the receiver.
Oh, wait, no I don't.

Nope, in fact I've spent time working on hiding games that don't look interesting to me so I don't end up winning games I'll never play and "games" that clearly exist just for the cash moniez. Up to 4,811 hidden. I used to be a lot less picky when I first joined.
Anyway I still enter a lot of gibs since points are plentiful, but at least it's for stuff I'm 90% sure I'll enjoy.

Wha.. what is auto-join? I.. I never knew such a thing is exist... I'm not joking. I always made giveaways opened for everyone because I love to share unconditionally..Did I do wrong? Did I feed money to Russian scammers' pockets? I suddenly feeling guilty...
And for entering uninterested games' entries, I already owned almost every games I interested that I want to play.. After hiding games I own, even I enter every giveaways I see I got spare points. There is absolutely nothing I can do on Steamgifts for me except making giveaways for people or entering giveaways of games you quoted 'Garbage' so please forgive me. I joined Steamgifts to give free games and reach the contributor level 10, not winning prizes or leach other people's pocket. But as I said, even if I combine all points of unhidden giveaways on Steamgifts it does not exceed 300. Should I stop entering giveaways? I don't know..

As cg said, the auto-joiners are there to make your life more easier and to guarantee that the use of your points will be used efficiently and as far i can see, the auto-joiners for the common public are well developed to work for you while you're idle somewhere else, but it's wrong and talking about that is kinda polemic right now, so this is why i thought was fun to create this thread!
I believe that there are a lot of advanced auto-joiners with A.I. imposed by some kind of communist reptilian that actually loves to play point-and-click and really don't care about playing the russian garbage, but why? What's the proposition of that?
Serious, i can imagine a server with 64 VM's one each running an auto-joiner with a Steam account linked on it. This guy will farm all the cards and then sell the accounts in the black market... Totally profitable and possible.
A week ago i saw a Lvl 1 profile with 500+ games won here and i was like.... "What a luck bastard"... I mean, right? Can you imagine this?
I'm Lvl 5 almost 6 and when i discovered SG i just imagined that it could be a nice place to 'exchange' my leftover for another people leftover, so i liked it because i was looking for somehow increase my library, but now i just want to delete a lot of garbage to make it easier to find the good titles so what was the point in buying, winning and trading games that i had no interest? There's a lesson here for us...
When you purchase or win a garbage, you automatically feed the trash-monster-developer and if you think that there are a lot of trash lately you have the right and the fault, just like me. So, keep your wallet and honor your real interests.
What was this thread about anyways?
