I'm not sure I want to delve into another MMO, had a really bad experience with one of those games and I hated myself for playing it. This also has monthly sub, bleh.

Yeah monthly subs are a dying breed, but right now its like a 37 day free trial. Make a trial account and see if you like it, and if not just gift it to someone I guess. And if you do end up liking it, you just attach the CD Key to your account.

Monthly subscription fees AND paying for the game client?

also FF XI is for 5$ on amazon . But that game is still alive and got players on it ( Even tho it`s monthly subs ) . Some of my friend told me to pick it up , But I will end up losing more money .
