Hello, i want to ask: which headphones (as in title) are better?
I know that gaming headset is crap, its sound sucks, etc. but as far as i see those Siberia has great opinions about gaming and comfort of using, and good (or just medium) about music.
But those SuperLux are described as propably the best headphones in this price.
If SuperLux are better, so which one are better for gaming, and sometimes music?

SuperLux HD668B is a 22€ headset, so nothing to expect from it, the Superflux HD669 I can't find it on any stores, except in one for 28€ and 20€ shipping lol, but that not count, SteelSeries Siberia RAW Prism for 54€ seems good, but it's a new product, and you need to check carefully if it has bugs, errors, etc, before buying.

The new Steelseries cost more than it should since it's a a new product, at least what I think, but I highly doubt that a 22€ headset can be better than it, you can't really buy anything good for that price, you can only get best for the price, you can't get a cheap headset and expect it to be better than a double priced.

Here some tips I will be doing when buying a new headset:
-No USB port, because it's worse than 3,5mm jacks, you can't connect it to PCIe soundcard, normally it comes with a build in sound card which is not good, sound quality tends to be worse, the only advantage of USB is that is more durable.

-No 5.1, 7.1 which normally refers to "gaming", but it's just bullshit afterall, only good Stereo, I have a real 5.1 sound headset, and yes you can hear in different channels and hear all different things in game, or playing and listening music at the same time without having problems of hearing what's in the game, since all sound is done in different speakers, this seems good, but is not that useful really, you have to adjust each audio channel for each game, and it doesn't really give you a big advantage since Stereo give you a 3D feeling too, but not that big, besides it normally offers, depending on the price too, a better sound quality.

-And no cheap headsets,( like at least <50€, or to me at least I will be choosing from 70-80€+), they simply can't offer you a good sound quality, but if you can't tell the difference between different sound qualities, then you won't care a lot about that, at least for the first time of using it. With my 50€ headset that I bought more than 1.5 years ago, I see it's not the best, sometimes it just can't offer a really good sound quality, but for the price of 50€ yes it was good, but the next time I will buy something better.

Yeah, best for the price. And the new Steelseries aren't very tested yet, it's a just a new product, important opinions of it just didn't come yet, if he has low budget these Superflux seem good.

Well, most gaming headsets are comfortable, but don't really has good sound quality. It was also in SS Sibera V1, 2 and all others :P So i highly doubt if they accidentally made a good one.

I won't recommend buying Steelseries anyways, you just included them in the topic, I was after some Sennheiser personally, but some of their headsets are really good, and other's aren't, so is always good to see opinions, reviews, comparison, etc. There are ones I was seeing but they not seemed good for the price of 70€, they have cheaper too.

I have the Superlux HD 681, I don't know how they compare to the ones you picked but I got them because they were highly recommended to me and I love them. I'm not an audiophile but they sound really great to me and I never saw anything close to that in that price range. I also got a cheap mic that I can clip on to the headphones and made my own headset with great headphone quality for only 25€.

Looks like you found the same info that I found back when I researched that stuff xD

It's a really great combination and my friends say that the audio quality on Skype/Teamspeak is actually pretty good. If you want a cheap headset with better headphone quality than a lot of "gaming" headsets and a headset were you can exchange one componet without throwing the hole headset away Superlux+Zalman is the best combination (for that price range of course) that I could find.

What's your budget? These are meant to be good (don't forget promo code), might be able to shop around and get them cheaper from somewhere.

Sadly, they are highly above the budget, because to alike headphones i would buy also soundcard which is (cheapest one, which won't get all from that headset) about 30$ + headphones for about 80$. Ofc to SuperLux i would also buy a soundcard, but they are much cheaper.

I own superlux HD668, and can recommend them. They are exact as Axelvox HD242 in hardware.

Had an AKG GHS1, for me personally it had a great sound quality for a gaming headset (around 90-100€ pricing that time), blah blah, dropped it, clip broke, still working but essentially not useful anymore.
So, didn't have much money at the time and went with the HD668B.
And lo and behold, there was more depth in basses, more comfort because it's enclosing the ears, also resulting in noise reduction for my environment, it's also very easy to pinpoint where sounds are coming from ingame.
In general sounds are more immersive and have more depth.
So even if I "downgraded" from an 100€ gaming headset I can say it improved my experience.
Biggest con for me is the need for an extra microfon and a f/f adapter, which is cheap, but can dampen the sound quality if it's too cheap and also fall of, if you get stuck somewhere with the cable.
Another con/pro is the fact, that you will hear background noises in games/music you never heard before. :/
Of course, those are my personal impressions, but it's save to say that those headphones can deliver the same quality as a 50€+ headset.
Using it together with the Reloop RHM10 for nearly one year now.
